Admission to the college is handled through the ACPC system overseen by the Gujarat government, starting after the 12th science results in June and lasting about one and a half months. The process is merit-based and conducted online. Faculty members are well-qualified, with most holding master's degrees, and the Head of Department is a gold medalist. The Bachelor of Engineering program has a semester fee of 35,500 rupees, totaling 71,000 rupees annually, with additional costs bringing it to 76,000-78,000 rupees per year.
Freeship seats help make the fees affordable. Placement opportunities exist, though salary packages are limited due to competition, with the highest being 4.5 lakhs per annum from Bosch for mechanical engineering students. Success in placements depends on skills and a CGPA above 7.5. The college also facilitates internships with companies like Maruti Suzuki and Microtech Engineer. Scholarships are available for SEBC, SC/ST, and OBC students, ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 INR per semester.
The MYSY scholarship, based on 12th standard percentile, was 52,000 INR per year in 2013, increasing to 62,000 INR in 2014. While the Gujarat government provides loans for fees, they must be arranged directly with banks. Digital Gujarat offers scholarships to support financial needs. Payments are semester-based, mandatory, and must be timely to avoid fines. There is no financial aid or campus jobs for bachelor's students.
