It's cost around 4lakh 10 thousand for four years.its a opportunity to grab the renowned scholarship like svmcm, national and all.
I like the teachers of our college. they are good at teaching
The college campuse is not so big but beautiful and better than other colleges in kolkata.

Dislikes

The hostel of the college is very poor the food quality is very poor
Canteen food is so costly and the material is not so good
Faculty members are very bad for outside state students they will not reply you if you ask anything in hindi.

Likes

Infrastructure: The college has a centralized air-conditioned auditorium, engineering laboratories, 50 to 60 classrooms, and a central library with digital resources
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated and experienced
Hostel: Separate hostels for boys and girls are available within the campus, with basic amenities and mess facilities

Dislikes

Placement: AOT placement is not quite well

Placement Experience:

AOT provide good job opportunities... it has an active placement cell, with top recruiters like Amazon, IBM, Accenture, and Capgemini. The highest salary package offered was 8.00 LPA, with an average package of 3.65 LPA

Academy of Technology is one of the best College.

Likes

The faculties are well qualified with PhD degrees from different IITs and Nits.
The college campus is full of greenery which enhances the overall beauty of the campus.It also consists of a pond at the centre of the campus.
There are different clubs such as Google Innovation Club,Dance Club, Music club etc.

Dislikes

Curriculum is too strict and the rules regarding attendance.
If u want to study all 4 years and need a good placement then u can definitely come here.
Little bit outside from the marketplace but that does not cause any problem to us.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement and placement in our college is very good that is 141 percent in 2023 and 96 percent in 2024(on going).If u had studied in that 4 years u will definitely get placed.

Everything that shines is not always gold but also not always coal

Likes

The classrooms are very very big with ambient atmosphere which is pleasing and rooms dont heat up that much during the scorching heat of summers
The Auditorium has central AC which is relaxing while placement session talks and classes are done mainly after the recess time which is after 2 pm .

Dislikes

They must fix the drainage system of the college , whicle it rains rainwater accumulates upto above ankle level that is very disturbing while changing buildings and we get soaking wet in that
The faculty needs to be restructed along with new teachers joining and the Labs in the ECE building needs refurbishing as its outdated and blazing hot in summers on the top floor

Placement Experience:

Its okayish like comparing to other colleges the placement record of AOT in 2024 is a bit lower than expected due to the job market and we hope it gets only better from now on. Well in my case im opting to join railways and am preparing for it & i hope for the best.

I liked the college campus it's built on 10.66 acre
The main attraction of the college is college placement students from cse,ece branches are 90 percent placed.
The faculty is strict regarding studies, classes are conducted regularly

Dislikes

The college is in rural area so there is nothing other than college

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for on campus placement . Companies like tcs, cognizant, Accenture,wipro etc visit this college. Almost 90 percent students are placed for placement college offers some extra course

College with good placement and grea for persuing in IT.

Likes

I liked the place where it is situated in its very calm.
The placements is very good . Almost every student got placed
The campus is very big and no ragging of any kind is allowed

Dislikes

The college is very strict sbout the attendance.
Though its a calm place, but it has lesser industry exposure
Almost no sports facilities, the fields are not taken care of.

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good, almost all students got placed . The average is 550000 per annum. Students are eligible for campus placement from 7 th semester highest was about 9 lpa. 99% students get placed. I plan to opt for m tech in 1st/2nd tier unis

The beauty of AOT

Likes

I liked the campus specially for being totally ragging free.
Teaching faculties for maximum subject are very good.
Placement rate is over 85% and the avg salary is more than 6 lpa

Dislikes

I want better lab technician because the currents are not that good in terms of behaviour

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement.There are a lot of companies visited our college in recent years like Amazon, Cognizant, Mahindra, BMW etc.Last year the highest package was 44 lpa and average package was 6 lpa.Last year over 85% students got placed.My plan is to get a placement with a good package in a company or to get a job at Indian Railway or Central PWD.

The Environment was very cool and soothing.
Architecture was also playing a very important role.

Dislikes

College professors were not up to the mark.
Labs not maintained. Needed to get upgraded.

Placement Experience:

Placements , in my accordance, depends not only on skills, but also in luck factor. The most challenging part in the placement is the interview call and out of that, joining letter is the most dangerous part. U would never know whether u have given good answers but why still u didn't get a call letter. Overall in 4th year , we got approx 25+ companies coming to our college for recruitment. And took only 30%.

A TO Z review about ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY

The campus is beautiful. The thing i liked the most about the college is that it is in rural area thus provides a cozy environment for learning yet being just 2hrs away from kolkata gives it the attention from renowned IT companies.
The college provides books from its central library which helps a lot and they also provide online book banks.
Each branch has its own students chapter equivalent to student councils who are responsible for carrying out various events .

Dislikes

As a 1st year student i have experienced least interaction with seniors . 1st year are basically secluded from rest of the students of the college ,we are neither allowed to interact with senior nor allowed to participate in events .
Though some faculty are really nice but yet there are some rude and egoistic proffs who wont even hesitate before throwing sharp judgements.

From 5th sem a student is considered eligible to sit for placements . main recruiters are TCS, COGNIZANT, IBS SOFTWARE, KPIT LTD,TRIANZ ,last year highest package offered was 12 lpa and lowest was 2.8lpa . percentage of placement is 147 (the only good thing bout AOT). (my plans is of course to get a good placement either in tcs, ibs or cognizant .

A Honest review from a student to a person who is planning to get admission in AOT

Likes

The faculty members are quite friendly and we can access them anytime. We can also call them after college
Every faculty provide a lecture plan which pretty much sum up the syllabus and the modules
We have a massive library where all the books are there which we can take help from , every reference books are available

Dislikes

Although the laboratory have sufficient equipment but they need to get rid of the broken ones.
The classrooms are synchronized and small to accommodate 70 students all at once

Placement Experience:

Our placement generally offers a package 5LPA as an average. Almost all the students who are eligible for placement get placed to companies like wipro , cognizant, TCS, TISMO, KPIT , and many more. Previous year the placement was 164.8% which indicates many candidates acquired 2-3 offer letters from companies. This year the placement was 146.56% .

Very beautiful campus, with a pond inside.
Lab are very good and cleaned, every engineering equipments are there.
Our canteen provide good food for systems in a very reasonable price.

Dislikes

College area is not urban . College located outside Kolkata
Although 90% students get placed but very low CTC.
In placements time only service base company visited our college.

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem most of the companies started visiting TCS, IBM, COGNIZANT, ACCENTURE, WIPRO, PERSISTENT, TREE, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, TATA MOTORS, KPI these companies are mostly visited. 90-95 % students get placement in on campus Highest package was 33 lpa from AMAZON (off campus) .
