Infrastructure is not good. Maintenance is little low
Course Curriculum Overview:
So we had what is called as early clinical exposure where we were exposed to the clinical part of MBBS in our first year of course
And we also had AETCOM classes where we were taught regarding the basics moral the doctor should have during their professional period of life
Our professors are knowledgeable and educated and teach very well, they don't discriminate or show partial behaviour with any students. They also help us a lot in doing research projects and volunteer work.
Our professors and institute encourages extra curricular activities and helps us organise events. They also encourage us to participate in intercollegiate events and national and international conferences.
Our institute makes sure we attend all our classes and conduct SGD sessions wherein the students can interact with the teachers and have group discussions. They also guide us with important questions and give us good practical exposure.
Dislikes
We do not have clean washrooms, proper water facility 24/7, or hygienic classrooms. Pigeons and other birds dirty the corridors all the time. There is water leakage problems in the college building. The benches are broken and also a physical hazard.
The hospital building stinks, especially the ward washrooms. There is water leakage problems in the hospital too. It is overcrowded and not properly maintained. There is shortage of equipment and medicines at times also
The interns and other staff are underpaid. Even after many complaints and reports by news channels, there has been no change. The interns are overworked and underpaid.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The cbme curriculam is being strictly followed. Most of our classes are SGD sessions but we fail to discuss as most of us have very less knowledge on new topics which the teacher must explain but fail to do so due to the new curriculum rules
The SDL's are given weekly which seem like copying in bluebooks and submitting as no one reads what they write.
Formative assessments are helpful and are done monthly.
Internals are strict and no malpractice is allowed.
The new nmc guidelines for attendance is being followed but is a very difficult job for every student to do biometric every hour as we are a class of 250 students.
The skill labs give you experience and also the required practice
There are many opportunities for undergraduate research for interested
Dislikes
The campus is quite small compared to other medical colleges
The parking space is very limited if you are travelling in own vehicle

Course Curriculum Overview:
MBBS as a course is great with never ending learning and experiences, with amazing opportunities and helps you do the change or positive impact you wished to do
But it does have its own cons as it constantly consumes a large portion of your day and energy, the curriculum is large and designed to be beneficial to people but burdening to students/ The expectations of perfect score and beyond amazing performance in academics doesn't exactly exist because of the vastness of syllabus
Good teaching . There are regular tests to see how much we understand the subjects . There is schedule which is monitored by the manegement very closely .
Extracurricular activities: Fest and few festivals are celebrated. If we want to go outside the college for any event. We are allowed and attendence is given
Research: research opportunity are many . Lot of faculty are interested in research so it will be an easy time for you if you are interested in research
Dislikes
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor there can be lot more development. This imight be done in the future
Fees : current fees is very expensive for the course
Course Curriculum Overview:
M.B.B.S it is the course for you to become a doctor. I don't need to tell you its value . But M.B.B.S is a tough course so only do it if you are interested, you are ready to work and you are ready to sacrifice a lot and study your entire life
Thinks I liked about our clg is the amount patients bring
I liked about the structure and effective time table organizer according to cbme curriculum
Regular conducting extra curricular activities
Dislikes
Lack of quality infrastructure which are required for medical education like non availability of regular water supply cleanliness and lack of ac
Not maintained cleanliness hygiene in washroom
Course Curriculum Overview:
We have a curriculum which is cbme which is integred in a practical orientated programme which gives knowledge abt to clinical skills and we also have a family adoption programme which is effective way of communicating or interaction with family members about community practices which are available teaching methods are done in integrated manner of clinical and non clinical subjects exams are conducted once in 10 to 12 months somewhat pattern of questions papers are clinically oriented
The campus can definitely be upgraded. It's basically just 5 big blocks of building and a dirt parking lot
Social interaction in sapthagiri are not really encouraged by the faculty. Despite being a co-ed college, girls and boys sitting on the same bench is frowned upon by the management
Dislikes
Too much of disciplinary action. Students are fined 500/- for small things such as I cards
Non-teaching staff too arrogant and gives 0 respect to students and future doctors
Infrastructure is poor and needs to be upgraded. Even washrooms lack basic water supply
Course Curriculum Overview:
MBBS is an ever-changing course and most of the decisions about what we study are made by the policy makers and institutions such as NMC and MCI. There is little role of the college in that
However SIMSRC makes it a point to follow all curriculum guidelines strictly whether they be issued from RGUHS or NMC. Including the latest inductions such as CBME , AETCOM etc
The faculty are very approachable and its academically more orientated
Encouragement in research and availability of great library
Encouragement to participate in intercollege competition .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The passion in medicine and serving people in the field of health is what made me choose this profession. For every 20-25 students there is 1 faculty available in our premises. They have an amazing teaching method where along with timely examination conducted there are various assignments and encouragement for research given by them.
I feel with what the faculty instruct and teaches, timely self-study it makes easy for students to score good marks.
8th semesters students become eligible for campus placement.
Several companies visit to grab doctors for their hospital in the company sector as the railways, airlines, iron industries, ship industries and incorporate hospital.
