Course Curriculum Overview:
Every year we have a set of three internal assessments which assess our knowledge about the specific topics being taught and how caught up are we with the subject. The third internal mimics the final university exam pattern. This form of assessment is quite efficient and beneficial because it helps us to study on a regular basis because we need to pass two out of the three internals to gain eligibility for our final university examination.
Apart from the internals we also have formative assessments after every unit of a chapter which is very beneficiary because it helps to keep topics memorised for longer
durations. The difficulty of the internal examination ranges from easy to moderate, there are very rare cases of the exam to be extremely difficult.
I chose this course because I wanted to become a doctor as I had always envisioned myself in a white coat. The student: faculty ratio was 4:150 per subject. Some faculty was quite good while there were others who were not so good. The term exams were often postponed due to covid but it was difficult to pass them.
I chose this course as I liked Biology very much in my 11th and 12th and I also wanted to be a doctor since my childhood.
Faculty:student ratio in this college is well maintained. There is 1 faculty member over 25 students.
All the faculty are well qualified and experts in their fields. Some of the professors are functioning as scientists for the university and have reserved some patents for their researches. The teaching methodology is also very good and according to the latest norms set by the university.
Every year you have to go through some college-level exams ( Internal Assessment) three times. And you must score at least 50% as aggregate in each subject to be eligible to give the final University Exams. All the exams taken are as per the latest Revised Scheme for evaluation set by the university. On average the difficulty of exams is high. Regular studies and consistency can make anyone pass the exams .
For admission in this course, students need to qualify NEET examination with good marks. Also, the should've cleared their 10+2 or an equivalent pre university examination with main subjects being physics, biology and chemistry.
Students aiming for a masters degree post completion of their MBBS one can opt for this course. They need to clear NEET PG examination in order to get the final selection. A little experience in their respective field is given preference.
I got admission into this college through the higher secondary examination marks.
