  • Full-time jobs depend on the field of study. There are career fairs on campus every year and departments prepare the students for that by helping with communication skills resume and CVs, and brushing up skills other than that GPA and knowledge of study are important, though universities don't promise to place students into full-time positions.
  • Working on campus Also helps to get a full-time job in your area on campus after completing study. There are many people who secure a full-time job by working on their skills.

  • I took accommodation off campus, as on campus is really expensive—around 1k per month just for rent. Off campus I found on Facebook marketplace for $500 a month a private room, which includes all amenities like wifi electricity water heat and a shared washroom and kitchen.
  • I would recommend finding off-campus housing, as on-campus housing is usually very high priced and as a student, it is not a good decision, as we can find better places outside campus.

  • As I personally haven’t completed my graduation yet, it’s hard for me to say how the full-time opportunities are, but as I know through my seniors, I’ve come to know that there are not many opportunities out there, but if you really try hard, you might be able to find some because there’s a hard competition out there in the world.

  • The university made a group for all the students that were going to join in from the next semester, which made it easier to connect with my classmates and more students in the university and through that WhatsApp group, I found my first ever roommates.
  • I shifted in with them when I moved into this country but later on I found more friends and I have kept changing my houses.
  • It’s not that hard to find housing here. I’ve already changed like six houses here and like, it’s not that hard.

There is no on campus placement but a fresher can make high five figure salary as a fresher graduated from the university . But university does not have a good co-op record as far I have heard from other students.

The overall experience is good there are good number of international students over here so it feels relatable to everyone.

Finding a placement doesn't depend on what college you went to, but how good your skills are. So, as a software developer, if you're actually good and know what you're doing. The starting salary can be anywhere between 50,000-80,000$ (per annum).

Overall experience was dissatisfying. I would blame some of it on COVID since, most of our classes in the last two semester were online and professors weren't used to it. But in terms of making memories, connections, friends it was good. But not so useful in terms of learning transferable skills to the professional world.

In Canada, there is no such trend of placements and you have to apply for jobs on your own. Co-ops are another thing where you become an intern for a semester and later they hire you once you're a graduate.

It has been a great platform to expand my horizons and get as much experience as I can.

The students are free to research on their own and can take the help of their professors. You can even research with your classmates as well.

The overall experience is great. The BCIS course is one of the toughest but it is a very vast field.

I am in my first year so we haven't done much . But time to time professionals come and give lectures about their field sharing job opportunity and such

There weren’t any specific courses but just the ielts test - i think 6.5 band and above. I have always wanted a career in policing, this university offers bachelors in criminal justice , which other universities don't offer

Easy placements and co-ops are available for students.

We don't get accommodation on our own very easily here, they provide us accommodation which is really good and if we don't opt for that then it would be difficult for us.

NA as I am still studying my course which is BBA. I am right now in second year.

I initially took admission in UFV India and then I took transfer to UFV, Canada. One of the reasons was easy transfer to Canadian campus. Also it is ranked well in Canada.

Most of the students get good placements. S s

One of the branch of UFV was in Chandigarh, so we could transfer to Canada after completing 2 years of our degree.
