What Students Say
Likes
- I wanted to expand my horizon and take more hands-on approach for my education, which most Indian colleges cannot do, hence i decided this college
- The subject is very hands-on and very interesting. more over the teacher and faculty is also very helpful. the campus is also fully AC. There is more practical test as compared to theory and the final test are also practical
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and some subjects are very hard. Moreover unlike Indian colleges where you have to pay a fine and reattempt the paper if you fail a subject, you have to spend 4 months and huge sums of money (depending on the course fee) to redo the exam
The overall experience is great. The BCIS course is one of the toughest but it is a very vast field.
Course Curriculum
Yes, the college gives you internship opportunities with a variety of different people.
Faculty
The faculty may be less because most of the things are student-run by the student company. moreover, the faculty is very experienced and will help you even outside college subjects.
Campus Life
There are many college events and the infrastructure is also great though it is small.
Placement
The students are free to research on their own and can take the help of their professors. You can even research with your classmates as well.
Accommodation
The campus in Abbotsford is very big and has several buildings for different majors.
Exams
The minimum GPA required for my course (BCIS) is 2.0 or above. Meaning you have to maintain a good CGPA in order to take a transfer. As of now, I didn't had to submit any SOP or CVs to the college. I didn't have to perform any specific test, though some BA students might have to take a math's foundational course
Fees
In my course which is BCIS the fee for 1 semester is (3.18 Lakh rupees).
Scholarship
There is a Deans list in the college, if you maintain a CGPA of above 3.7 then you are eligible to be in the deans list and one of its advantage is scholarship.
