- I am happy I chose this university because due to the lesser strength of students compared to orher universities, professors can put more focus on us. We can reach professors easily and they are always ready to help. I had mental health problems and the university had resources for that too, my professors were very understanding. I would recommend this university
Required Exams for Admission
There weren’t any specific courses but just the ielts test - i think 6.5 band and above. I have always wanted a career in policing, this university offers bachelors in criminal justice , which other universities don't offer
Course Curriculum
It is up to date . The professors are from the respective fields, one of my professors is a parole officer , so she can also tell us real life experiences too.
Faculty
It is about 25: 1. I have never met such supportive staff in my life , this is true for my course but not so much for comp sci majors. Most of my professors have done masters and some have even done phd and have had wonderful careers before teaching too. Prof Mike trump has been a wonderful professor and I always looked forward to his classes which was really surprising
Campus Life
The UFV global team is wonderful. Its called team S&S and they host various events for bonding of students and just fun activities in general.
Placement
I am in my first year so we haven't done much . But time to time professionals come and give lectures about their field sharing job opportunity and such
Accommodation
My family friends helped me find a private room for about 550 cad. the average for a pvt room is around 600-650 .
Fees
It was around 11 lakhs for the first year
