Dislikes
- Sometimes it is difficult to find a spot in library
- There is a gym on campus but it is too small and not fully equipped
- The Membership for the sports is not included inside the few and have to pay around 45 CAD extra per semester
Scholarship
- There are very few scholarships in the university and they are mostly for domestic students, which are rarely given. There are some scholarships for international around $3k but they are given rarely; they are listed on website of University Neither me nor any my batchmates received this so don't know much about that and usually only a handful students get any scholarships.

- The fact they had a campus in Chandigarh. The fee wasn't too bad in comparison to other Canadian institutions.
- The fact they have a Campus in Chandigarh, India. So, Indian students can start their degree in the comfort of their home and can take a transfer to the Canadian campus after the 1st year or the 2nd year. This way you save up on tuition fees and also adapt to the Canadian Education System before moving to Canada. And after you graduate, you get a degree from the University without the mention of you being in a different campus for the first two years. It's the same degree you'd get if you studied in Canada for 4 years.
Dislikes
- The professors in Abbotsford Campus are very below average. They don't focus on actual learning, but just somehow finishing the courses and moving on to the next one. Out of the 20 courses I did in Abbotsford Campus, I only learned something new in maybe 2 or 3 courses. All the other courses were absolutely a waste of time. Even in a very practical course, they'll read off of a powerpoint presentation, without teaching anything practical or useful. Even the exams were useless. I don't think I learned anything that directly translated into my professional life.
Overview
Overall experience was dissatisfying. I would blame some of it on COVID since, most of our classes in the last two semester were online and professors weren't used to it. But in terms of making memories, connections, friends it was good. But not so useful in terms of learning transferable skills to the professional world.
Scholarship
I did receive a scholarship for my grade 12th score. It was about 75000INR.

- I wanted to study abroad but wasn't ready to leave India so soon. They have a satellite campus in Chandigarh, where I belong, and offer transfer after attending it for one year. So, I thought this was the best opportunity to spend some time in India while receiving Canadian education.
Overview
It has been a great platform to expand my horizons and get as much experience as I can.
Scholarship
No, I did not receive any scholarships but you can apply for them online on the university's website if you meet the requirements.

- I wanted to expand my horizon and take more hands-on approach for my education, which most Indian colleges cannot do, hence i decided this college
- The subject is very hands-on and very interesting. more over the teacher and faculty is also very helpful. the campus is also fully AC. There is more practical test as compared to theory and the final test are also practical
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and some subjects are very hard. Moreover unlike Indian colleges where you have to pay a fine and reattempt the paper if you fail a subject, you have to spend 4 months and huge sums of money (depending on the course fee) to redo the exam
Overview
The overall experience is great. The BCIS course is one of the toughest but it is a very vast field.
Scholarship
There is a Deans list in the college, if you maintain a CGPA of above 3.7 then you are eligible to be in the deans list and one of its advantage is scholarship.

- I am happy I chose this university because due to the lesser strength of students compared to orher universities, professors can put more focus on us. We can reach professors easily and they are always ready to help. I had mental health problems and the university had resources for that too, my professors were very understanding. I would recommend this university
Overview
There weren’t any specific courses but just the ielts test - i think 6.5 band and above. I have always wanted a career in policing, this university offers bachelors in criminal justice , which other universities don't offer
Overview
I initially took admission in UFV India and then I took transfer to UFV, Canada. One of the reasons was easy transfer to Canadian campus. Also it is ranked well in Canada.

I got Dean's list in my previous semester as I scored 4 GPA and minimum to get into the Deans list is 3.67 GPA
