Delhi University Cut Off for PwBD Category is usually lower than the General category cutoffs across most DU colleges and courses.
- Delhi University reserves 5% seats in every UG programme for candidates under the PwBD category. Candidates seeking admission under the PwBD quota must appear for CUET-UG 2026 and apply through the DU CSAS Portal.
- A valid PwBD certificate is mandatory, and certificates issued after 1 June 2021 must follow the latest government guidelines and be generated through the UDID Portal. Separate seat allocation lists are released for PwBD candidates during the DU admission process.
- PwBD reservation in Delhi University is a horizontal reservation, which means it is applied within every category rather than as a separate category.

Important Note:
- If a person becomes disabled after joining a job/service, they can still get PwBD reservation benefits in promotion. However, their PwBD reservation benefits will be counted only from the date their disability is officially certified as 40% or more under the RPwD Act, 2016.
- It also clarifies that temporary disability certificates are not valid for claiming reservation benefits.
