Symbiosis College of Physiotherapy BPT Admissions 2025

SCOP Pune offers Bachelors in Physiotherapy, across a duration of 5 years. The course duration includes a 1-year compulsory clinical internship as per the guidelines of the National Commission of Allied and Healthcare Profession (NCAHP), as well. Candidates with 50% in 10+2 are eligible for admission. All other details are given below.

Key Points for Symbiosis BPT Admissions:

85% of seats are reserved for Merit Quota and 15% for Institutional/Management/Discretionary Quota. In 15% of Institutional/Management/Discretionary Quota seats, allotment will be done first to the Foreign National and NRI candidates. If the seats remain vacant, then applicants from OCI, PIO and Indian National will be considered.
The candidate must be born on or before 31st Dec. 2007 to be eligible for the BPT Programme. The date of birth mentioned in the HSC/SSC certificate will be proof of the age.
A candidate should have appeared for the NEET-UG examination.
A candidate must have passed the HSC, 12th Standard Examination, or equivalent examination from a school/college situated in India. This would be an exception for Foreign Nationals but they should submit the equivalency certificate from the competent authority.
A candidate must be medically fit to undergo a graduate course in the Health Science faculty.

Symbiosis College of Physiotherapy Admission Process 2025

Admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPTh) program at Symbiosis College of Physiotherapy (SCOP) is based on NEET-UG 2025 scores.

Eligible candidates should have cleared HSC and SSC with 50%, along with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
85% of seats are reserved for Merit Quota and 15% for Institutional/Management/Discretionary Quota. Applicants must have completed HSC and SSC from recognised institutions in India.
The admission process includes online application, publication of merit lists, and physical reporting with original documents and fee payment.
Further rounds will be conducted based on vacant seats, as per the published schedule on the SIU Pune website.
The Academic, Hostel and Mess Fees (if availed) of the academic year 2025-2026 should be paid through Demand Draft drawn from Commercial Bank in favour of ‘Symbiosis International University’, payable at Pune.

Ans. Yes, candidates must note that the increase in the Academic fees for Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme at Symbiosis College of Physiotherapy shall be 10 % every year for the duration of the programme. Hostel Fees can be increased up to 15% each year and Mess Fees can be increased up to 10% each year. Government taxes would be additional as and when applicable.
