Dislikes:

  • Only dislike is that it can be too big at times and it is very cold. Otherwise all of the above are great! .

Course Curriculum

The course curriculum was very relevant and we were constantly interacting with real-world companies and had real responsibilities alongside tests and essays.

Fees

Total out-of-state tuition and room and board comes out to around $70,000 USD for undergraduate business students.

Dislikes:

  • The transportation is not that good, especially during winters. null
  • The rent is high and on-campus housing is very random and limited. null
  • The tuition for a master's program is very expensive with very limited TA/RA positions. null
  • There are very few opportunities for International students to get their fees waived off. null

The course curriculum is designed to help students learn basic concepts they can use in their professional lives. Both practical as well as academic insights are given for students so that a student is well prepared to go into academia as well as industry. In my course there's no industry experience but I did opt for research experience and continued a PhD in the same topic. Most of the Professors have had industry experience so they gave us valuable insights of the current practice in the field.

Fees

I completed my master's program in 1 year (i.e. 2 semesters). The tuition per semester was 28k USD so total tuition I paid was 56k USD. Generally, it takes 3 semesters to get a master's.

Dislikes:

  • Just the winters here sometimes get very long, so the first year can be an adjustment, specially for people from our countries, since we are usually not used to long winters. null

The curriculum itself is of course very difficult as it is a very prestigious public campus, but I enjoy this challenge.

Fees

I’m not sure what the tuition fees are as I am fully covered for my tuition for every semester.

Dislikes:

  • Considering it is a public university, the tuition fee is very high for all the programs that you take although there are many funding opportunities. It is a small college town therefore sometimes one might get bored of exploring the same places. A car is beneficial if you are not within walking distance of campus. The bus feasibility is good but it can take up a lot of your time traveling if you do not look up the bus timings before hand and leave accordingly. null

Very relevant, worked with real-life clients, reading a lot of relevant papers in the industry.

Courses are really good for my department, one of the best masters in the university and the biggest department here. You can select courses from other subtracts even though you are not in that particular subtract. Some courses are really intense and you need to put in a lot of time but they have excellent faculty and courses so it's worth it.

Good university for my program and one of the best ECE departments in the USA, umich is also a very good rated university among all others for masters and graduate programs with one of the best engineering courses. Good engineering department and faculty as well as good research groups.

I think my coursework is extremely updated and relevant. It is easy to get opportunities and does not take long to accommodate into the workforce given what we learn. I have a lot of research opportunities that you wouldn't find elsewhere and I really appreciate that.

Fees

$ 60,000 (out of state tuition).

Fair, classes are relevant, and electives look great on paper. I wish they offered more of the electives instead of listing 20+ and only offering 3 a semester. If they could do that I would love the school.

Fees

Not sure what this is asking or what fees and charges it refers to. I have no fees at this time nor do I expect to be charged.
