What Students Say
Dislikes
- Only dislike is that it can be too big at times and it is very cold. Otherwise all of the above are great!
Academics and locations. It was definitely a work hard play hard experience. I also wanted a school with school spirit and a good sports program that was not too far from home.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum was very relevant and we were constantly interacting with real-world companies and had real responsibilities alongside tests and essays.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is around 1:100. All the teachers I had in the business school were great and were very helpful during office hours. Overall they are more than willing to help professionally.
Campus Life
Campus life was great it was very vibrant socially all year round there’s a ton of spots for students to study and thousands of clubs to get involved with.
Placement
Lots of companies came to visit big and small with career fairs and private events. 95% either got a good job or went to graduate school and most people started out earning $70k USD or more.
Accommodation
I shared a room in a dorm which is what most people did and paid $500 USD in Edinburgh. This is on the low end of what most people end up paying while studying abroad.
Exams
- My scores: ACT 34/36 and SAT 1510/1600. Those are the only two. - Delbarton - 4.00/4.00 (10th); and 4.00/4.00 (12th) and University of Michigan 3.71/4.00 - Requirements: I didn’t have to submit any of these we use the common app in America but there was an option to submit a CV.
Fees
Total out-of-state tuition and room and board comes out to around $70,000 USD for undergraduate business students.
