- UCLA is number one public university, it was my top choice and my goal is to go to an Ivy League law school and UCLA is just a stepping stone for me to get there .
Campus Life
Campus life is great, there are many opportunities but your academics take a lot of time and energy so you might not be able to take part in extracurriculars but they are available for you to enjoy and explore.
Hostel
It is definitely expensive, because it is Los Angeles but if you get scholarships and financial aid, it is definitely better. Student housing is great, there are many apartments nearby as well!

There are on campus and off campus places. The off campus places are good too. The rent is very very high.

Campus Life
Campus life is cool, follow the rules and you don't have to deal with any problem, there are quite a number of good infrastructure in the school, the environment is clean, a lot of extracurricular activities like dance club, basketball, tennis, football. Research and library is opened for over 14hrs.
Hostel
If you live within the campus hostel accommodation is 200 dollars.

I lived in campus dorms during my first 2 years at UCLA. The rooms are sharing. All freshmen usually stay in triples. As a sophomore and above it is possible to stay in doubles or singles. The rooms are well maintained with good infrastructure. There are multiple room types. Some include a private bathroom, some a shared bathroom (between 2 rooms), and some a communal bathroom (shared by residents on a given floor). Every dorm building has laundry facilities, multiple lounges, shared study spaces, microwaves, and vending machines. There are no kitchens in the dorms. UCLA dining is ranked number 1 in the United States. The food is incredible and offers a number of diverse options for vegans, vegetarians, and non-vegetarians. On-Campus accommodation costs roughly 15-18K USD depending on the room type and meal plan a student opts for. Off-Campus apartments are in very close proximity to campus. However, they vary greatly in price and size and it is up to the student to find the best fit for themselves.
UCLA is the number 1 public university in the United States. It has a beautiful campus with an extremely diverse faculty and student body. The university's location in California is a great bonus for students like me hoping to start a career in tech due to its proximity to the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. The university has a vast, well-connected alumni network and provides tremendous opportunities to learn and grow via clubs, events, and career growth opportunities. The campus community is also as incredibly warm and welcoming as the weather in Los Angeles. I could not recommend UCLA highly enough.

I am living in on-campus housing, dorms, and I think they are quite appealing because they are close to campus and clean. the meal plan is included with the housing fee, so that is a bonus too. the food is extremely good.
I got to know about this college because I live in the same state, and it's very well known to everyone. the admission process wasn't too difficult because I just had to fill out the UC applications and include my grades, extracurriculars, and supporting essays. the application fee was $80 for this particular campus, and I applied to 6 colleges including this one. I chose to go here because I love the environment, location, and overall happiness of the campus as well as its good reputation. my academic background was good because I was in the top 10% of my graduating class, graduated with highest honors, and had extracurriculars and volunteer experience.
I opted for this college for its prestige and popularity. It was also in the top 5 of the nation and #1 in the United States. I was also able to apply for free and it was not far from home at the time.

I was fortunate enough to establish a local residence so none of the above-referenced models was relevant. If I relate any information on the alternatives, I am only relating what is found on www.ucla.edu. I would say, however, that an on-campus experience would be rewarding.
One of the worlds best universities. Great location with ethnicity not being the overriding factor in all things Bruin. School and classroom size manageable and equipped. Beautiful architecture and grounds are very conducive to the learning process.
