  • About 50% of the students secure a job within 6 months. The average salary ranges from 20 to 40 dollars in California. Students typically find jobs through LinkedIn, Handshake or referrals from relatives and friends. The highest salary offered could be $40-45, and the lowest $15-20 anywhere in the US to an average experienced candidate.

  • WhatsApp, Facebook Groups. Challenges faced are not finding people who you can rely on until the lease is signed and you step into the country. I found the WhatsApp groups of the apartment I live in and found people who I would be comfortable with and then formed a group and signed a lease. Make good bonds with the people you want to live with.

  • There numerous number of opportunities like Statistician, Data Science, Data Engineer, AI Engineer, ML Engineer, etc. We usually apply through handshake and linkedin. Also there are career fairs that happen through out the year at our university which also help us in getting full time and internships.

  • There are various groups that are there, I joined these groups and got my roommates and my apartment too. There are numerous challenges like finding the apartment in City View because it is near the university if not then we need to find it somewhere down the hill. I would recommend to just keep an eye on the site and find an apartment in City View.

Currently I am enrolled in pre medical and then I will be taking MCAT which will decide where I will be eligible for my medicine.

My university is an example of diversity. Here I have got to seen people from many different backgrounds. I have hardly faced any problem connecting or interacting with people at the start. Resources are super good and available for everyone.

I'm not so sure about that but the school has this website and I signed up for it to see all the jobs that are for my degree because I can choose. They need at least a master's degree for certain jobs but the minimum is a bachelor's degree.

It was near my house when I moved to Livermore and then will transfer to CSU East Bay. But waiting for them to give me an answer. I used to go to Ohlone college but not anymore. The CSU that I'm planning to go to soon is more well known that the other CSU that I wanted to go to. The admission process was easy for me when I applied to the CSU.

There are posts everywhere, also a website platform called Handshake that offers both jobs and internship offerings. Also, recruiters come from campus and to the college of business for those interested in going to find a career in business.

The business program is one of the best among the Cal States and the opportunity to go to school in the Bay. I am offered many opportunities and scholarships with financial aid that pays for my tuition and forming expenses.
