  • There are 23 Cal State campuses, and mine is East Bay. It includes a well-equipped library, sports complex, student health Centre and dining commons. The name of my campus is Cal State East Bay—Hayward (Main).
  • Popular events are Block Party, Pioneer Week, International Fest, and there are many student clubs like ALPFA, SKY Meditation and the Business Analytics Club.

  • WhatsApp, Facebook Groups. Challenges faced are not finding people who you can rely on until the lease is signed and you step into the country. I found the WhatsApp groups of the apartment I live in and found people who I would be comfortable with and then formed a group and signed a lease. Make good bonds with the people you want to live with.

  • My university has lots of campuses one of which is east bay, Hayward. The library is of three floors and also has study rooms which one can book. Also there a RAW center at the college which is at just another level. There is block party that happens on every intake. There are numerous levels of clubs.

  • There are various groups that are there, I joined these groups and got my roommates and my apartment too. There are numerous challenges like finding the apartment in City View because it is near the university if not then we need to find it somewhere down the hill. I would recommend to just keep an eye on the site and find an apartment in City View.

Campus life is going really good. I love to stay in university for as much as longer time as I can. I have my friends here. My events happens on our campus. I am part of many clubs and love to play 8 ball pool during my free time.

Students prefer to stay in apartments than dorms as they are cheaper when shared.

It was near my house when I moved to Livermore and then will transfer to CSU East Bay. But waiting for them to give me an answer. I used to go to Ohlone college but not anymore. The CSU that I'm planning to go to soon is more well known that the other CSU that I wanted to go to. The admission process was easy for me when I applied to the CSU.

I lived on campus due to living far from home. It does take away from time spent commuting to campus, and the expenses with that. There are off-campus options such as apartments close by and those who live at home and just drive or take public transportation to campus.

The business program is one of the best among the Cal States and the opportunity to go to school in the Bay. I am offered many opportunities and scholarships with financial aid that pays for my tuition and forming expenses.
