- Low Fees (25k USD)
- Good TA opportunities (One gets to teach a whole class of bachelors students for the whole semester)
- Good On-Campus Jobs (Dining, IT, Data center, Shops, Parking, etc)
Dislikes
- Careers fairs not so good
- Bad university reputation as compared to others
- No good environment for studies (everyone focusing on on-campus jobs too much)
Campus Life
- I opted in for Off-campus accommodation and I stay just opposite the university which is very convenient for students as they just have to cross the road to reach the university and don't have to follow any transportation.
- The monthly rent is 2150 for a 1b1b apartment which is usually shared by 4 people.
- The main challenge in the accommodation process was the communication between the apartment and us since we had to again and again call them for doubts and other communications.
Fees
- Its around 2700 per subject. You can complete 10 subjects. Fees is charged semester wise according to how many subjects you select.
Monthly expenses:
Rent+Utilities: 570
Grocery and others: 100 - There are many apartments located right in front of the university and hence there is no transport charge as such if you live in those apartments.
- Apart from those apartments, you will be required to purchase an electric cycle which most people purchase if they stay far away. For buses, currently we have an offer where we get the bus travel free in out area.

- I did my research before applying to this university. Cal states offer a wide range of course curriculum especially for MS CS and MS BA. CSUF is on top for MS BA according to US News and CSULB comes next. Both of them were in my top preferences.
- California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) is a top choice for those seeking higher education in Southern California. My time at CSUF was enriching and diverse. I studied subjects like database management and cybersecurity, guided by expert and approachable faculty. The university's diverse student body encouraged collaboration, which improved my teamwork and communication skills.
- CSUF's Information Systems program emphasizes research, and I had the privilege of working on various research projects, deepening my understanding of the subject.
Dislikes
- Fewer or no scholarships are provided. Since the cost of living in Southern California is on the expensive side, it gets a little hard to manage your monthly budget if you're not working on campus. CSUF provides a wide range of employment opportunities for students, and there is a requirement almost all the time in the dining and parking areas on campus.
Overview
My time at CSUF has been a transformative journey. The challenging academics, supportive faculty, and vibrant campus life have provided me with invaluable knowledge and lifelong friendships. I've had opportunities to grow, explore my passions, and prepare for a successful future.
Campus Life
CSUF has a diverse and engaged student body, and campus life is known for its inclusivity and active community. There are numerous student organizations and clubs that cater to a variety of interests, including academic, cultural, social, and recreational. The university hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year, including cultural celebrations, lectures, workshops, concerts, and social gatherings. There are often events related to student organizations and clubs, as well as larger university-wide events that bring the campus community together.

Overview
The communications program is one of the best in CA and it was close to home and very cheap. Compared to other colleges it was the best choice for me. I applied to basically all of the UCS and also CSUF and Csulb. I like being near where I grew up, and since my parents were moving to a different city I knew I would have my space.
Fees
I pay around 3500 a semester. I pay it all by myself. There are scholarships and loans obtainable through the school, but I don’t need it. I work a decent amount in retail and it pays my college for me. I’m not sure about anything past that because I don’t apply for anything. It totals to 7000 dollars a year.
Overview
I wanted to go to a UC but I was not accepted unfortunately so I opted for a California state university, even then it was not my first choice but I settled because they accepted me early. I don't know why I did that.
Fees
The parking pass at my school is the most expensive out of most universities and the best part is that there is nowhere to park unless you go early.
Overview
I was enthusiastic about the exercise science program they offered and how accredited the professors in the program were. Many of them have worked professionally with athletes who have become pro or made it to the Olympics.
Fees
Fees were what an average university in California would cost. About 3k and some a semester. Books were able to be rented out or bought and we had to pay for a parking pass, but I think it helped since the school is a commuter school.
Overview
Location and cost were what I was looking for, they also had the program I wanted and I got into the school. I also liked the campus environment and clubs that were offered and the general vibe of the campus was nice.
Fees
It is kinda vague when dues are due but it is easy to pay them online. there are a lot of hidden charges that I think are unnecessary. I think they could do better with this aspect but it's not a huge deal because they are always helpful if you have questions but it's kind of a hassle and they could make it easier.
Overview
I chose this school because it was close to home, it was very reasonably priced tuition and it is a great school for those that aspire to be teachers. It also has a beautiful campus and the class sizes are small.
Fees
The fees were pretty basic and inexpensive. If you were driving to school and needed to park there, a parking pass was $256. Of course, there are other expenses like books and supplies which can range from $50-$300 a semester. (Or at least that?s what mine cost)
Overview
Because of the choices of course offered in this university. Also, the weather in California is similar to my native country. Also, there is also a lot of opportunity for on-campus involvement like Associated Students Incorporated. i.e ASI or other student organizations such as IEEE or fraternity clubs. The College also offers a decent fee structure.
Fees
Fees are around 3500$ per course. More the number of courses, the higher the fees. During the summer, we also have cheap courses.

I am interested in the School nursing certificate. I already have a BSN.
CSUF offers various School Nursing certificate programs, including the Preliminary Professional Credential (PPC), the School Nurse Services Credential (SNSC), and the Master of Arts in Education (MAE) with a Specialization in School Nursing. However, you can explore the CSUF courses to learn more about the curriculum, fees, and other details.
You need to appear for the GRE examination (and TOEFL or IELTS examination if you are an international student) and have to pass with the minimum required scores for being eligible for admission.
