- Low Fees (25k USD)
- Good TA opportunities (One gets to teach a whole class of bachelors students for the whole semester)
- Good On-Campus Jobs (Dining, IT, Data center, Shops, Parking, etc)
Dislikes
- Careers fairs not so good
- Bad university reputation as compared to others
- No good environment for studies (everyone focusing on on-campus jobs too much)
Placement
- Currently, full time job opportunities are rare because of the market situations but I am hearing some people getting jobs.
- Don't have an idea about a average salary that they are getting. Students usually find jobs through linkedin only since its the major portal for networking and connecting new people. Usually I have heard that its easier to get a full time through referrals.
- I opted in for Off-campus accommodation and I stay just opposite the university which is very convenient for students as they just have to cross the road to reach the university and don't have to follow any transportation.
- The monthly rent is 2150 for a 1b1b apartment which is usually shared by 4 people.
- The main challenge in the accommodation process was the communication between the apartment and us since we had to again and again call them for doubts and other communications.

- I did my research before applying to this university. Cal states offer a wide range of course curriculum especially for MS CS and MS BA. CSUF is on top for MS BA according to US News and CSULB comes next. Both of them were in my top preferences.
- California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) is a top choice for those seeking higher education in Southern California. My time at CSUF was enriching and diverse. I studied subjects like database management and cybersecurity, guided by expert and approachable faculty. The university's diverse student body encouraged collaboration, which improved my teamwork and communication skills.
- CSUF's Information Systems program emphasizes research, and I had the privilege of working on various research projects, deepening my understanding of the subject.
Dislikes
- Fewer or no scholarships are provided. Since the cost of living in Southern California is on the expensive side, it gets a little hard to manage your monthly budget if you're not working on campus. CSUF provides a wide range of employment opportunities for students, and there is a requirement almost all the time in the dining and parking areas on campus.
Placement
CSUF, like many universities, typically offers career services and resources to assist students with job placement and research opportunities. These services may include career fairs, networking events, resume building, interview preparation, and job search assistance.
My time at CSUF has been a transformative journey. The challenging academics, supportive faculty, and vibrant campus life have provided me with invaluable knowledge and lifelong friendships. I've had opportunities to grow, explore my passions, and prepare for a successful future.

There are job fairs almost every month, I have currently not started to look into getting a job but I know from professors that many of CSUF students get hired because of our internship program and our networking groups.
The communications program is one of the best in CA and it was close to home and very cheap. Compared to other colleges it was the best choice for me. I applied to basically all of the UCS and also CSUF and Csulb. I like being near where I grew up, and since my parents were moving to a different city I knew I would have my space.
Placement
There is but none at the same time because there are so many business students that are all looking for the same job opportunities as me so the competition is real and I'm not sure if my resume is strong.
I wanted to go to a UC but I was not accepted unfortunately so I opted for a California state university, even then it was not my first choice but I settled because they accepted me early. I don't know why I did that.
I was enthusiastic about the exercise science program they offered and how accredited the professors in the program were. Many of them have worked professionally with athletes who have become pro or made it to the Olympics.
Placement
There is a great career center and it seems like it is helpful to a lot of students. I haven't used it but I get emails about career fairs and job opportunities so it seems like there are a lot of chances for students to find jobs.
Location and cost were what I was looking for, they also had the program I wanted and I got into the school. I also liked the campus environment and clubs that were offered and the general vibe of the campus was nice.
I chose this school because it was close to home, it was very reasonably priced tuition and it is a great school for those that aspire to be teachers. It also has a beautiful campus and the class sizes are small.
Placement
I really had a very hard time getting a job after completing my master's degree. I have applied to almost 700 companies but its really a tough nut to crack.
Because of the choices of course offered in this university. Also, the weather in California is similar to my native country. Also, there is also a lot of opportunity for on-campus involvement like Associated Students Incorporated. i.e ASI or other student organizations such as IEEE or fraternity clubs. The College also offers a decent fee structure.
