The courses are fine some are the latest one and some are old and not that updated. It is an elective so it's on you which you want to select. For Research not a good college but ya they do give good industrial exposure.

Fees

68000 USD for 2 years of master's including the medical insurance.

  • Dislikes:
  • Some of the buildings could have been renovated now and made them upto the mark, apart from this, no other issues.,
  • The university is great. The students feel exactly like home with the culture shared.

Pretty good curriculum and opportunities for data-ML related courses. Software courses are good and up to date but limited in number. Faculty is very approachable and always ready to help. Some online courses like Algorithms or Cloud Computing are not totally worth the money because they are more of self learning subjects with pre-recorded lectures/ videos.

Fees

Overall it will go till $60,000 including health insurance, miscellaneous fees etc.

  • Dislikes:
  • Too many Indians international exposure is almost negligible.,
  • Little to no campus opportunities for most of the students.,
  • No flexibility in the coop program you need to follow there timelines.

In order to graduate we are required to achieve at least 32 credits and each subject hold 3-4 credits all the mandatory courses have 4 credits the optional subjects vary between 3-4 credits. The course curriculum is mostly practical it is design in such a way that you would be required to do assignment and end term project which needs to be presented before the class, that project will have the learning of the entire semester as well as the things we explore on our own. The ratio of professor to student is 1:30 but we have TA who helps and are generally available all the time.

Fees

The program is a bit expensive but I was lucky enough to get an on campus job as well as a coop so the on campus job helped me to fund my rent and daily upkeeps and when I got coop I was able to save for 2 semester as well as provide for my expenses. Hence my cost of the program came down drastically the rest was supported by my father through a loan because I didn't want my father to burn down his saving and I also didn't wanted to do the same hence took a loan. So I have a loan of $30k and the total expense that I had incurred would be around $52k Tuition fees and $20k as my living expenses.

I think that the courses are very relevant to current news and applicable to the real world. Faculty is interested in teaching and very interactive and open to help. Lots of industry experience in class to work with real clients along with co-op system allowing students to be prepared for the real world early on having 2 years of industry working experience even before graduating, setting them apart from everyone else who graduates. Students mature early on because of this and have no problem finding a job after graduation.

  • Dislikes:
  • The tution fee is bit expensive compared to the other universities but if scholarships are provided it can be good

The program has a 32-credit system which is generally the same in most of the universities Northeastern University has a great curriculum for the program I was looking for and the faculty-to-student ratio is quite good as compared to the other universities.

Fees

For me it was not affordable as the total tution fee was 50000 us dollars but after some good scholarship it can be affordable if your profile is good you can opt for scholarships and if you have experience you can work as teaching assistant

Courses choices wisely as they offer very less courses and lots of students (over crowded) try to register for these courses and you don't end up getting the course you want.

Fees

58,000$ for 2 years (4 semester) [includes insurance:$2500 / year]

  • Dislikes:
  • The main thing that I really didn't like about university is the weather, that's cold in boston and in winters there all around the snow, that occurs the problems in travelling in early morning to go campus.

  • Dislikes:
  • I wish there were more diverse course options, and some classes focus on outdated technology. The recent increase in admissions has led to a larger, more competitive crowd, impacting the overall experience.

The course curriculum varies; some have updated content, while others cover outdated material. However, the program offers ample opportunities for industrial exposure through internships/Co-ops. The presence of dedicated advisers greatly assists in securing these valuable experiences.
