- The most important thing about NEU is its coop program and the only reason you should come but it is not guaranteed and only 60% of people get it so you need to be hardworking and smart to get it other than that good infrastructure. null
Dislikes:
- Too many Indians it is very crowded with Indians no On-campus jobs nothing, very costly city in bad market the meaning of this college is nothing, this college is good only in the good market because of coop program. null
I chose this university as their Internship program known as COOP was the most important factor and their ranking, also having good support for COOP will help me in searching for a full-time job. The College is not that great if you want a stable start as there is no on-campus job that you can get easily, everyone is Indian so no foreign exposure. Every Indian has their setting there so that's the only reason they have some on-campus job. Fees are high, too many issues in college administration. But one good thing is the coop search experience you have there you will grind very hard to get an internship which will make you job ready and they have good support for the intern but don't come with high hopes here as even the city is costly.
SoP submitted. 3 lor submitted: 1. Hod, 2. Professor 3. Research paper professor I choose this University when software engineering tech job market was good and hiring of new grad was great. Currently its worst and nobody is hiring new grad students. I have mixed feelings for starters there are no on campus jobs on campus jobs is very hard to find here lots of Indian students and international students are trying to apply for on campus jobs and there are very less on campus jobs. as you don't have on campus job it becomes expensive and Boston itself is very expensive with skyrocketing rents and living expenses. On the other hand the university is good infrastructure good professors with deep knowledge and Boston is also a good place for finding jobs as it is hub for software and biotechnological companies lots of companies hire Northeastern students

- I chose this university because the location appealed to me, and the college had stellar reviews. The positive feedback and the promising aspects of the program were key factors that led me to accept the admission offer. null
- I genuinely enjoy my college experience. The campus is fantastic, and the professors go beyond teaching—they focus on real-world applications, making us job-ready. Being in Boston offers abundant job prospects, and the college provides valuable guidance on securing internships. What's more, professors have industry connections, helping us build a network that extends our opportunities. null
Dislikes:
- I wish there were more diverse course options, and some classes focus on outdated technology. The recent increase in admissions has led to a larger, more competitive crowd, impacting the overall experience. null
My experience has been great. The university fosters inclusivity with numerous Indian clubs and events. While the overall curriculum was good, I expected more in terms of the technology taught and course selections. The campus life and supportive community have made my journey amazing.
