Raiganj university history department review

Likes

The teaching faculty is so good and excellent, many of them are renowned scholars in their respective fields. Teachers are a good guide and mentor.
It offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral programs across various fields. Also it encourages research and innovations.

Dislikes

Our university should prioritize increasing internship opportunities for students.
Library should increase it's book collection.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always been passionate about history and it gives me a higher study opportunity in future. It helps me to think deeper and to understand global events, cultures in real life. The teachers are fabulous here but need to improve in research and writing skills, professional development etc. Exam level is moderate and the 1st semester and exam timing will be uploaded in website few months before .

The honour of Raiganj University

There are so many things to enjoy University field are one of them .
The Central library service is too good .

Dislikes

Our university doesn't have canteen so whenever you are hungry you have to buy good from outside.
Class are not taken regularly . Professor are busy to teach on tuition .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am currently studying literature. The curriculum of literature is good all the things releted to literature like terms, rethoric prosody, history of literature are there . But one thing I would say that grammar portion should be there in curriculum . And the timing of exam and 6 months average.

Journey of Raiganj University Geography honours

At first it was a university near me expect other colleges.
There were good infrastructure for class room and lab practices.

Dislikes

The distance between my home and university was little far so that some problem for daily attendance in class is impaired.
For the higher course those infrastructure is not suitable.

Because of my interest in the geography selected the course. There were total 35 students and the ratio of male and female 3:7.There were some experts and qualified professor to provide the course curriculum.Some class test and internal exam and semister exams were happened.

Dark Reality Of Raiganj University

The campus is beautiful and huge which can provide good campus life .
the annual fest is the best thing about the college as famous singers come to perform here .

Dislikes

The education quality is very bad . Most of the time the classes gets cancelled .
most of the faculties have no time punctuality always entering the class after 30 mins of delay .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a keen interest in english subject from childhood and I wanted to get further knowledge about this subject . The faculty to student ration is quite good . The professors are well qualified and but there is no punctuality about time in them . They enter the class 30 minutes late and the teaching quality is very average . The term papers are moderately tough but anyone who has interest in the subject can pass easily

Behaviour of the staffs, their behaviour is rude.
There are many technical problems in website.

I want to complete my bsc of chemistry, then I will complete my MSC, then I will be prepared for net examination then I want to complete my PhD degree in chemistry and want to research in chemistry. The faculty are 7 teachers and 19 students. They teaches us well. 3 examination in one semester. 1st 10 marks internal, 20 marks practical, 30 marks theory exams

A good & friendly university for study in raiganj

Likes

Campus Life & collage infastructure.Like our university has a big campus & a organized,well maintained structure
Good,helpfull faculty members,professors.

Dislikes

Evening session semester price is little bit high,which can be hard for average family students to study in this university
Hostels can be improved more & providing some extra facilies

Many IT companies like HCL,CTS,Wipro etc. companies offered approx 10-15 lakhs per year & it's also depends on the student that how much quality he have,if he have sufficient knowladge then he got more better companies approx 90-95% i will prepare for MCA

The thing I hate they don't provide any placements.
In the laboratory most of the computers don't work

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I chose this because the subject was easy for me as Computer Application was an elective paper in my 11th & 12th. Also, some of my teachers suggested me to pursue this so I chose this course. The teachers and professors are well-qualified and experienced most of them are Ph.D. holders. In my college, the faculty is divided into two categories. One is for arts, commerce, and law and the other is for science and management. The number of students currently studying here is 11000 (according to the University website). Semester exams are taken after 7-8 months. The exams are not hard but few papers may be. Teachers give suggestion questions before the exams so it makes it less hard for students. However, it depends on the students how much they have studied.
