The annual fest is the best thing about the college as famous singers come to perform here .
The professor are very well educated when you ask something in bengali they don't understand and thenon teaching staff behaviour is very friendly .
Elegibility was a good score in science subjects in h.s.

Dislikes

Class are not taken regularly . Professor are busy to teach on tuition .
If you attend class regularly then you don't have to give internal exam they will pass you .
Our university doesn't have canteen so whenever you are hungry you have to buy good from outside.

New University In Bengal

Remarks:

Raiganj University has an amazing campus which spreads over 15 acres. The buildings, lounges,labs,classrooms everything has been newly constructed which is a big plus for the students. The campus is loaded with state of the art technologies and facilities.

I confirmed my seat in the university through the merit based selection for UG program. Admission for other courses like, MBA, m.Phil and pH.D is through entrance examination. There is an option for both online and offline application submission.

My university is a feature rich University. It has all the necessary facilities that a student require in his day to day life. Starting from hostel, gyms, libraries, laboratories to Cafe centers for chilling out. University takes proper care of both physical and mental state of his students and provides a better on campus life.

The admission process of the university was simple. I applied for my admission through the online portal of the college. The eligibility criteria was at least 50% in 12th. As my scores were pretty good in intermediate, I didn't face any problem during the admission.

Admission process is different for different courses, to take admission in undergraduate course will be based on marks obtained in class 10+2 or 12th. Initially all interested candidates have to apply and later shortlisted candidates will be called for admission.

My College Life

Admission:

The admission in B.Sc in my college was pretty similar to other colleges. I scored 60% in 12th Science while the cut-off was 50%. This entire counseling depends on your score in 12th grade, no. of seats available. It's simple for one to get admission as the cut-offs are not that high.

Raiganj Univerity-A good Starting Point

Admission:

The admission process is quite simple and similar to all B.Sc courses. I had to appear in the University Counseling process. For my branch, one needs to have Biology in 12th grade. The cut-off is 50% while I had 62% and college was pretty near to my house, so I chose to opt for it.

Remarks:

One fabulous thing about Raiganj University is that it has a good infrastructure . There are a number of labs, halls and tv rooms where teaching is done with the help of technology . The campus itself is of 13.2 acres providing students a lot of space to chill. The university has been established recently so all the facilities are latest.
