Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum for Zoology is quite same compared to other colleges. Course was well structured, with well-built labs. We have 2 semesters in a year. Credit is calculated on class test, end sems, labs, assignments and projects basis. It's still chilled for me.

Placement Experience

3

Many of my seniors got internship opportunities in different companies. The placement scenario is quite mediocre, but normal compared to other universities in town. Most of them opted for PG in other good colleges, so it is a great start.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a government college, the fees are not much. It's around Rs. 16,680(this is during my curriculum, your's may vary). This includes all the tuition and admission fees. Labs, library and all miscellaneous comes under this. For three years, this is not much.

Campus Life

4

We do a lot of extracurricular activities like different clubs. We have a sports event every year. The cultural fests and fashion shows are the main events. We develop all our team-leading skills through such events.

Admission

The admission process is quite simple and similar to all B.Sc courses. I had to appear in the University Counseling process. For my branch, one needs to have Biology in 12th grade. The cut-off is 50% while I had 62% and college was pretty near to my house, so I chose to opt for it.

Faculty

3.5

The Zoology faculty stands out compared to other departments. The teachers are quite helpful, some do get sour if you don't work on your assignments and projects. All in all, the teachers are quite good and helpful.

My collage provides internships, and the average package is also good. From the sixth semester one can become eligible for internships. My plan is to study further, Msc and PhD.
