The placement for the mbbs degree is in general impeccable in general regardless of the college but in the case of a well established medical college with a history of more than a decade which is true for this scenario, the degree has even more value and the placement are also very good
The internship starts after completing 4 years of mbbs and the internship starts there. It is well done with immense practice and clinical exposure. practical knowledge is gained in this period of time.
so we as an MBBS student or given the internship opportunity within the college itself. So we are given a one-year training in the college premises which allows us to learn about different patient conditions. How to deal with the hospital life. The patient inflow here is really good. Allows you to learn multiple medical conditions and how to treat them.
After 4.5 years of study we have to do an internship for 1 year at our college hospital.
It is a hands on learning experience.
Stipend is 10000 per month for 12 months.
Interns have to be on duty on all days sometimes even on sundays.
1 year internship is must after complition of the course of mbbs.
8000 per month is stipend provided by college for the internship students.
Duties are based on the department which includes night shifts and days shifts
You have to mandatorily join the College hospital for a year, as an intern, after completion of course. This is an NMC rule so it's the same everywhere. Other than this there are no internship opportunity.
As in medical College there is no more options of externship. So internship is compulsory. Stipend is just in between 5-10k now. You can't skip a single dubty during your internship otherwise it will extend
Internship opportunities are available for students who have done undergraduate Circulatory internships available with stipends fixed by the state government. Postgraduate doctors and residential doctors are available for internship to guide them
In spite of the fact that there is a placement support cell in the college it can't guarantee that the greater part of the students get an important and pleasant job with a decent package. As far as internships are concerned, most definitely it isn't obligatory and not a basic piece of our course.
The students get a hands on experience at the hospital of the Katihar Medical College. The practical training happens there, for every student. After the completion of the degree, one can either join as a doctor at the hospital or opt for other hospitals.
