Katihar medical college review

The course is decently relevant for us mbbs students due to availability of a good influx of patients which provides the faculties with enough practical material to teach us with. We get a nice amount of relevance out of it.

The people who finish the 4.5 years course from the college have to serve a duration of 1year internship in the hospital of this university itself only then will on ebe eligible to attain the mbbs degree

The placement for the mbbs degree is in general impeccable in general regardless of the college but in the case of a well established medical college with a history of more than a decade which is true for this scenario, the degree has even more value and the placement are also very good

The campus life would be decent if one could get some free time away from the studies, most of the students spend around 6 hours in the library after the classes end. The social life here is one of the best parts, the seniors are very interactive and helpful and make college life a whole lot easier

The hostel facility is one of the major competitive edges this college has over its competitor colleges. The hostel is awesome especially when comoared to its competition. There are seperate bathrooms for each room. Each room has an ac. There is an availability of water at all times. The electricty is a bit iffy but they turn on the generator relatively quickly

The main reason i chose this college was that the overall fees for mbbs from a private college is around 1 crore but in this university it costs only about 65 lakh which is peanuts compared to the usual cost of mbbs from a provate college

The faaculty to student ratio is very good and the relationship with faculties is awesome. The faculties all seem very approachable. There are two terminal exams then a pre university exam followed by the main university exam. The course curriculum is decently relevant
