Remarks

Well All the positive aspects of my college is already discussed above. Negatives are very few like lack of patient exposure, rowdy behaviour of professors, microscopes are old, machineries are old. But my college is really good when it comes to teach me MBBS. College life is really good here. I love my college. Hope I will become a good doctor one day.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course is based on practical learning, we go to wards and OPDs to learn on patients. And every day its a hectic day for a medico or doctor. My classes starts from 8. 00 am, which is a lecture of 1 hour then 3 hrs of ward then lunch of 1 hour after that practicals.

Placement Experience

5

Well in India, there is a scarcity of doctors. So for us placements and job opportunities are really high, but to maintain the quality we should be at our best on all the working days. Yes my college provides paid internship. Well right now I am in 2nd year, internship starts after 4th year which is mandatory for all medicos. Stipend is ?15000 in my college, by the time I will graduate it will be around ?20000

College Events

4

In my college we celebrate Holi, Saraswati pooja, and a 15 day long annual sports meet and fest. All kind of events takes place starting from cricket to spellbee. Literary events are real fun. We have national level quizzes also, life here is very soothing, we get to see new people when we are involved in annual fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fee is expensive. Tution fee=?850000 per year Hostel and mess= ?200000 per year Library charge= ?80000 per year Miscellaneous =?130000 per year All total is around ?1230000 per year. For a middle class Indian my college is really expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship is available. As my college is private which has no aid from government. So my college cannot afford to give scholarships even if one needs it. One has to pay all the fee that too in advance.

Campus Life

4

Well gender ratio is 2:1 that is girls is to boys. Students organises freshers party, farewell party, annual fest, Saraswati pooja, holi etc. All the students are well behaved no one bullies anyone. Everyone here respect each others choices. Well everyone here is reach so no question of bullying someone on economic basis.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I live in hostel which is mandatory for all. Hostel life is best but not the condition of hostel. The building is 10 year old, insects are the real problems. Well my hostel has the capacity of 289 students which is only for 1st and 2nd year students, final year and Interns have separate hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are like real jewls in my profession. They help you a lot. They tell us what to read what to not. They help in exams, so that we can pass, they teach us how to examine patients and diagnose diseases. Without seniors you can't be a good doctor.

Admission

First one has to appear in national level examination known as NEET, then only NEET qualified students can take part in counselling, in counselling one has to show all the required certificates like 10th passing certificate, NEET score card, once your seat is finalised, just pay the fee and you are admitted in a medical college.

Faculty

5

Well All the faculties are well qualified, they are very much interested in teaching us. They always try to help us by teaching new ways of examine a human. In practicals they teach us how to perform different tests to diagnose diseases.

I opted for mbbs which is obvious as i had qualified neet exam. Mbbs is a degree which gives us a day to day exposure to the common people. It's a degree of service, which includes a day/night work without any complaint, but not now as I'm currently in 2nd year only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
