Ans. The 5-year integrated programme is designed for students entering directly after 10+2, combining BCA and MCA in a single continuous programme. It saves one year compared to doing both degrees separately (3+2 = 6 years vs. 5 years integrated). The 2-year standalone MCA requires a BCA or equivalent bachelor's degree for eligibility and is also CUET-based. Both programmes have an intake of 60 seats. The integrated programme is ideal for students who are clear about pursuing a career in computer applications right after 10+2.
Ques. Is Mathematics mandatory for admission to the BCA+MCA Integrated programme at Gurugram University?
Ans. Yes, Mathematics is mandatory at the 10+2 level for eligibility. Candidates who have not studied Mathematics in 10+2 are not eligible for this programme. Additionally, CUET UG 2026 scores (minimum 50 percentile/percentage) are required for admission. Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) with Mathematics in 10+2 are eligible.
