The Bachelor of Computer Applications + Master of Computer Applications (MCA Integrated) programme at Gurugram University, Gurgaon is a 5-year full-time course offered by the Department of Computer Applications under the Faculty of Science and Technology. Spanning 10 semesters, the programme combines undergraduate and postgraduate computer applications education in a single, seamless curriculum covering programming, data structures, algorithms, database management, software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing. The total programme fee is Rs. 3,04,850 over five years, with an annual intake of 60 seats. Admission is based on CUET (UG) scores (minimum 50 percentile/percentage), with Mathematics mandatory at 10+2 level. The course is popular among students who wish to build a strong foundation in computer applications and software development while earning both BCA and MCA degrees in five years.

Admissions for the 2026-27 session are expected to open in May 2026 (tentative), following the 2025-26 pattern where applications opened on 05 May 2025 and closed on 05 July 2025, with classes commencing from 16 July 2025. Students are advised to monitor the official Gurugram University website (gurugramuniversity.ac.in) and the CUET UG 2026 portal for updated dates.

Since the course is a full-time, on-campus programme, no distance mode centres are applicable.

  • Admission is CUET-based (minimum 50 percentile/percentage), unlike many other integrated programmes at GUG which are merit-based.

  • The Department of Computer Applications is part of the Faculty of Science and Technology, which also houses B.Tech and M.Tech programmes, providing a strong technical ecosystem.
  • The programme is offered by a state government university, providing a government-recognised degree at a very competitive fee.
