The grind,glory and everything in between!!!

Likes

Anant Faculty's and staff are supportive and dedicated towards students personal growth.
College has Good Environment for students working space and everyone look pretty happy towards eachother coz all are GENZ guys who just preted they are happy.
Well there are more girls compare to boys so there is quite fun to see beautiful time in college whenever we go.

Dislikes

The degree i choose is very time consuming of class so yeah it takes my most of time so i couldn't enjoy with most of cultural activities.
They have pretty bad pond at entry which smell hell and it's been 4 years they are not renovating it at all.
The only thing i don't like is we need to walk too much to reach the college foyer and it sucks all the time.

Admission:

Well This college in my second option Because they promised good Infrastructure and good Faculties. well they are still working on infrastructure also about Finicially this college suits well to me.Well i got admission in nirma but budget got over so i ended up over this place.

Campus life is the best with Good Curriculum

Likes

The course curriculum is designed very nicely which includes design as an overall factor.
The teachers are friendly and their way of teaching is adaptable.
The infrastructure of the college is wide and engaging.

Dislikes

Their management. The academic affairs management is poor which results into delayed classes and end moment decisions which cause problem to students.
The classes of design do not have ac not a proper seating arrangement. We sit on stools without backrest whole day long.
Some of the TAs are not supportive and do not update on what is to be done in next assignment.

Admission:

I chose this college over other colleges I got an admission in, because this college was near to my house and it was solely a design and architecture college. So it provides all the necessary facilities and knowledge to become a designer. I did not get any rejection from any other college. The admission process for this college contains an entrance test in which you need to pass the written test and an interview. The eligibility for this course is 10+2or equivalent with minimum 50% in 12th.

The environment of college is pretty good
students are very humble with each other
faculties are really really helpful towards student

Dislikes

There are many assignments to be done in less time
we dont get any extension for our assignments
sometimes it gets boring in aspects of teaching

I choosed anant national university because its indias first design x university where we can have majors and minors we can study two designs in one bachelors course by this i choosed to study here and i dont want to apply in another clg

The environment of the campus is really refreshing and scenic. I personally love working in calm quiet places, and the campus has many such places all over.
The faculties are very friendly, engaging and experienced. Any faculty I know won't mind if you randomly ask them questions about your work.
The whole place is very well maintained, clean and green.

Admission:

I applied to multiple colleges like UID, MIT, Symbiosis, etc. before choosing anant. I got into most of the colleges I applied to but I chose Anant National University because of the overall environment when I first visited them, as well as the overall course structure. I researched about some of the head faculties in the college and genuinely wanted to learn from them.

Lifestyle is amazing here.Its like you guys are love in a 5 star hotel or something
Can go outside till 11 o clock which is so good and if you want to go beyond 11 then you can mail them through parents Gmail that would be helpfull.
You will get variety of people here to talk to there are also some international students so tapk to new people and be friends

Dislikes

It's so expensive for a middle class guy to recide here for long time
You really can't change your rooms if you have bad roommate they will only say just adjust with them .
I can't describe more dislikes because there are no more I told you everything about it I think so it's clear to you guys

If I truly speak I didn't apply to any other college other than that because I already new about this college as my institutional teachers told me about that already and I also talk to the some seniors before coming to the college and I new about very well so like other colleges are not having design mindset and but this university gives you a different perspective to see the world where design meets engineering and this college not makes you see any job it makes you to create other jobs and make your own company or be entrepreneurs And criteria to enter our college is you should be more than 50% in your 12th which I think so everyone could get and you will get a interview call from the college which you have to attend and from that interview you guys will be selected to join the university and review is not so hard that you can't clear it so easy and interviewer is also very friendly and there are two exams mid sems and end sems for which you have to prepare and get the grades

Life at AnantU Ahmedabad.

Likes

Interactive session for the students, a lot of events for fun and not just a boring life , group projects , City visits, trip included in modules
Systematic juries/exams, portfolio building

Dislikes

Cafeteria food and it is not very spacious
Less number of classrooms and more number of students

Admission:

This college is in the city that is a design hub, the location is really good as everything is reachable comparing to the other colleges i applied for which were 1 hour away from the main city. We get exposure to a lot of stuff in Ahmedabad. We can visit NID Ahmedabad too as it being in the same city with CEPT, KU etc.

The campus is beautiful it is surrounded by greenery and amazing architecture it feels very inspiring and motivating
The mess is very good with wide variety of affordable snacks and food
The freedom to express yourself has no limits

Dislikes

Fee structure is kind of costly so it might be out of some people’s league without financial aid
Its still a new college so the curriculum is still in the experiment phase
The water logging problem which is only a problem in monsoon

Admission:

My college had an online exam that needed to be passed to get in with other boards documents i chose this college because i couldn't get into my priority college which was NID, this college is also pretty good.

Good College for design and architecture degree

Likes

The infrastructure is just excellent and also improving year after year. They are building a separate building for each course in future.
The college has good course with experienced faculties
The college also participates in NASA(National Association of Students of Architecture

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide very good internship opportunities
Canteen area is a bit hot during summers some needful measures could be taken
Not every classroom is air conditioned just like CEPT

Admission:

I even got admission in the Urban Design course in the CEPT university. Many people suggested me to get admission in CEPT but the thing was that it is a lot different from the main architecture degree and you may also not get a license to practice as an architect in future. I did not get admission in arcitecture in CEPT which was my main target due to the 50 per cent board marks criteria. My board result was not up to the mark so could not make it in CEPT. In order to get admission in Anant for B. Arch, you just need a particular score both in your NATA and Boards to make it in the all india list (if you've given CBSE exam), there is a benefit if you are from GSEB board catergory.

I opt for Anant national university for a bachelor's in architecture. For architecture, you need to crack NATA which eligibility criteria for an architect student. A minimum 70 score out of 200 is a passing mark as of 2022. You can find the application form on the college website
