And there are wide range of books for design as well as other fictions. My college offers different sports like football, cricket, frisbee and competitions are also held for these.
Admission
I chose this college over other colleges I got an admission in, because this college was near to my house and it was solely a design and architecture college. So it provides all the necessary facilities and knowledge to become a designer. I did not get any rejection from any other college. The admission process for this college contains an entrance test in which you need to pass the written test and an interview. The eligibility for this course is 10+2or equivalent with minimum 50% in 12th.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:30. Our initial faculty were very nice and understanding. They gave us work but they understood our situation and gave us time according to the exercises. But at the end of the semester, the faculties gave much work to complete the syllabus. Our exams are taken in the form of jury. We have jury at the end of each module and at the end of semester.
Interview Experience
Yes we had given an interview for the entrance test. They asked questions regarding the field you wanted to opt for. And general common sense questions related to design. I prepared by knowing simple things in real life which are related to design.
Night Life
This college is in the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Thus there are only few cafés to hangout at night around the campus. After a day of classes we would like to chill in the cafeteria and library. The campus timings are from 7am-11pm. It is not safe to roam outside the campus at night.
