What Students Say?
Likes
- The environment of the campus is really refreshing and scenic. I personally love working in calm quiet places, and the campus has many such places all over.
- The faculties are very friendly, engaging and experienced. Any faculty I know won't mind if you randomly ask them questions about your work.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum with high relevance and comprehensiveness overall. In terms of real-world preparations, the curriculum does an amazing job and provides proper insights into your work as well.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided as well by the college. It is open to all students. It can be very beneficial for the students as they would be able to get some practical real-world industry exposure. I myself have learned many things by just applying for internship opportunities provided.
Placement Experience
Placements are provided by the college. The placement plans of the college are steadily improving, especially for design programs. The placements for the students start in the 7th semester, and the whole 8th semester is for a proper project with your company after placement. Many internship opportunities are also provided by the college
Fees and Financial Aid
For me, the yearly fee is approx 3.5 lakhs ( 2 lakhs tuition fee + 1.2 hostel fee ). There is a 10% increase in the overall fee every semester. Financial aids are also provided to students in need. I myself have been provided 25% financial aid.
Campus Life
My overall experience in the college has been vibrant and fulfilling, particularly in terms of social aspects and involvement. Many festivals and events are celebrated on the campus where everyone mixes up well together in joy.
Hostel Facilities
I am currently staying in the Mayflower hostel right outside the college. It has been a lovely experience being here. The food is provided by the Jaiswal Group caterers and is really good. The food quality can definitely be improved but I would say that it is good enough.
Admission
I applied to multiple colleges like UID, MIT, Symbiosis, etc. before choosing anant. I got into most of the colleges I applied to but I chose Anant National University because of the overall environment when I first visited them, as well as the overall course structure. I researched about some of the head faculties in the college and genuinely wanted to learn from them.
Faculty
Most faculty members are amiable and interactive. The faculty-to-student ratio is also well maintained, allowing one-on-one discussions with the professors. There are highly educated and experienced faculties. Most professors are approachable and genuinely invested in student success. The course structure is also well balanced with a mix of theory and practical applications. There are internal gradings at the end of every module and a final jury at the end of every semester. In the final jury, an external and an internal faculty member are present and we need to walk them through our work of the whole semester and present everything professionally. the external jurors are also very well-experienced personnel in the field.
