NIFT

Overall great course I like this course after I came to know about its depth This course has lot to learn and to know about so many interesting topics which we study I love pattern making and Garment construction these two are major subject other than this we also have SPME and SCAP, EOT where we learn about retailers, management and technology The course also provides the floating subjects like management of fashion, we have so many practical subjects and written exams of fabric science where be get in-depth knowledge of fabric science in simple words, fibres to fabric t, the whole long process and its so interesting

My year wise fess currently for 3th and 4th semester was 1,61,650 and 1,42,850 that makes the total of 3,04,500 per year which i think is not a affordable price for an average middle class as there is scholarship but not every student can have the access to it. if my parental income is less than 8 lakhs yearly or less so i can get 25% back of my tension fees

To be honest my hostel life was not very good. Still, I survive, as the room I got was in second floor which was the top most floor of the building and we ecen don't have any facilities for AC or cooler. Here the temperature is really very hot it was so hard to for us, now if we talk about other facilities we git one common room there we got ac and microwave, also steam iron and fridge. Still, it was nit sufficient for so many students and also atleast as a girl we got the hostel but for boys there's no hostel in college, so overall not al all good campus life.

I was very into designing from the last Covid time and really wanted to join 'National Institute of Design' or NID from my degree but i give the exam but haven't got selected in second round which was the studio test ,other than NIFT i also applied for UCEED and NATA basically architecture and design for both and also for JEE as I took PCM , but after the results NID doesn't have enough seats for general category and for architecture i was not sure as it was 5 years of course so I decided to opt for NIFT for bachelor of fashion technology qs it was new to me and i was really excited to explore this flied and I'm happy with the results and in academics im doin6 great taking equal oart in class assignments so overall i love this subject.

Over-all I like my faculties but we also have a special form that we need to fill in every semester about the review of each faculty and h3/she won't be have the access to this from we can complain or appreciate the faculty members, In my perspective most all teachers at nift are well qualified and has great knowledge I know for some students is hard to ask doubts byt your factory gave us the equal opportunities to ask the doubts also behave the self-study session where facility are actively participate and help students

So my hostel gates used to close at 9:30 -10 max and college library is not 24*7 it's only till 6 pm or 8pm in weekdays and on weekends onl6 till 5 so it's somewhere I think needs to be changed , now about the location of the campus is nice and safe at night as well its6 peaceful and calm and all greeny around.
