Course Curriculum Overview
So architecture basically involves a lot of model making and sketching which i lpersonally like doing so its been a great journey for me till now. The curriculum is excellent but till now it didn't exaclty prepare us for real world applications but it will soon i guess ahead in the course. As such the delivery of the course is done in the best possible ways. The frequency of exams is also perfect and gives us time to prepare.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The year wise fees is 96000 INR which is said to keep increasing by 10% every year. There are no scholarships for the any category students. Registration fees will not be more than 2000 INR. The university is trying for an increment in the fees to upto 2.5 lakh per annum but FRC won't allow so that should not be a major problem
Campus Life
There are a lot of annual events running throughout the campus, almost every indian festival is celebrated through unique events. There is a wide range of books available in the library and almost every popular book related to your subject would be available in the library. Drafting tables are provided in each and every classroom so that working could be made efficient for the students. Almost every sport is available except swimming in the campus. Clubs for dance, music, decoration, and many more increase student and course interactions.
Admission
I even got admission in the Urban Design course in the CEPT university. Many people suggested me to get admission in CEPT but the thing was that it is a lot different from the main architecture degree and you may also not get a license to practice as an architect in future. I did not get admission in arcitecture in CEPT which was my main target due to the 50 per cent board marks criteria. My board result was not up to the mark so could not make it in CEPT. In order to get admission in Anant for B. Arch, you just need a particular score both in your NATA and Boards to make it in the all india list (if you've given CBSE exam), there is a benefit if you are from GSEB board catergory.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:10. The faculties are very much approachable, it is a good mix of visiting and permenant faculties. The faculties are very much experienced and talented, I have personally too searched their linkedin profiles. In foundation year, there are no exams but only final juries which are external and refletions which are internal.
Other Applied Colleges
Nirma University - [NU] | Bachelor of Architecture
Nirma is very famous for engineering and law no doubt, but in my opinion they still a better organisation in architectureet and design
