Glimpses of Red Square

Every college has some pros and cons with their respective management. Our administration is somewhere weak and the college lacks the connection between the management and the student structure.

The Course Curriculum comprises of multiple juries which help students to improve vocabulary skills, explanation of the design programme and betterment of personality. The design programme of Studios leads the students for research of various construction methodologies, massing, form, and clustering for their respective designs. On the other hand, the examination is theory based which helps to understand the structural part, construction part and historical analysis of architecture.

Placement in architecture is not a prominent aspect as the course is a professional one. APIED has a 4 month Office Training programme under an experienced Architect who helps us to learn the technical knowledge and on-site work of our field.

Events in our institute are well known for its uniqueness in the city of Vallabh Vidyanagar. We have events such as Farewell, Freshers, Janmashtami, Teacher's day, Navratri (Famous for its squarish Garba) and TAMIR (College Festival). We work hard for every event with respective stay backs at the college after the academics and design various installations, murals and many more things for the event.

The total fees I'm paying is Rs 1,05,000 per annum. Every year it gets increased with some amount. The recent batch is paying about Rs 1,20,000 per annum. It includes tuition fees, gymnasium fees, tax, and others. The fees are comparatively less as compared to the well-known institution of architecture.

No, I haven't opted any scholarship. The scholarship is given on the basis of the result of the 12th standard. If someone gets 80% or more, he/she can avail the scholarship.

The best thing about college is its campus. One can feel the liberty in the atmosphere. Students are not restricted to work in the studios, the can freely work anywhere in the campus. There are may sitting spaces in the campus such as Red Square, Brown square, and many others. There are workshops, guest lectures, sports competitions, and design competitions.

Seniors are helpful to the juniors for the studio work and guide us about the design. They also make us learn by letting us do their work. Alumni showcases their work in the college to provide us influence on the design philosophy.

I got admission in the 3rd round of choice filling conducted by ACPC governed by GTU. There are three rounds every year for the admission process and I got in the last. I wanted the admission in APIED due to its ambiance and the first experience that I got.

Faculties are supporting at various stages of the semester and make us understand with proper guidance the design process of the Studios. In other subjects they make us understand every aspect of the subject and the respective topic covering it. Faculties make us self dependent as the course of Architecture requires.
