India's best school of Architecture

Overall I will say that it is the one of the best college in India. Here we get very nice environment, curriculum, experienced faculties etc. And this is what students need. We have a Nice management team also.

I gave NATA ( nation aptitude test for architecture) examination in 2016. It is 200 marks exam in which I scored 117 marks. I was a diploma student so I had 96% marks in diploma. So, my total cut off (50 NATA + 50 diploma) was 78.7. I applied for Architecture from acpc website and chosen the m.s. university as my first choice. I got admission in the mock round and also got the admission in final round also.

The course is little difficult as you know it is a well know college. We get six subjects in every semester. The design studio is priority subject because we meant to be designers. We have subjects like building construction, building materials, sciography, perspective, structure etc. The students need to focus on all the subjects simultaneously for the betterment of their results. This is a 5-year long course and in final year we get 9 subjects in a semester. So it's Little difficult to handle 8 other subjects with final year design studio. Overall the curriculum is very nicely designed from the timing point of view.

Yes! Our college provides the internship. In the first semester of 4th-year students have to go for an internship for 6 months to any respective architect of India. The architect must be registered in COA ( council of architecture). In some offices, we got the stipend and in some, we don't. It depends on the portfolio of the students work. In the internship, students get the actual experience of the market and the role of the architect to the society. So the experience of internship is very nice and meaningful to the students for their future startup.

No. Our college does not provide placement. The students have to get the job on their own. After passing the course, students make the portfolio of their work done in the course and they get the jobs according to the quality of their work portfolio. Frankly speaking, m.s.university student easily gets the job in the well-known architects form in India because of the quality of work is better.

Oh! This is the best part of our department. We celebrate every festivals in our campus. Like Navaratri, Ganpati, Ram Navami, Matki for etc. And we also have an annual event named 'REFLECTION" Which is 3 days long event for the architecture students. In reflection, the students from all over Gujarat participate with great enthusiasm. That's what makes it a successful event. You can Google it.

Frankly speaking guys, we are studying here for almost free of cost. The fee for boys is 1500 INR. Per annum. That's why every student from all over India wants admission in m.s. university. The fee is almost nothing but we have some expenses like stationery, studios, models, materials etc.

We are paying for nothing as fees so we don't need any scholarship. But every year top 3 ranked students from every class gets price amount as below. 1st rank - 11000 INR.and certificate. 2nd and 3rd rank - 5000 INR. And certificate.

We have a very nice environment on our campus which is created by the students itself. The Timing of college is 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. After college, we play many games like volleyball, cricket, bed Minton, table tennis etc. Till 7:00 pm evening. We also celebrate the sports week at the end of the winter.( February) We participate in NASA ( national association of students of architecture) composition as a college. NASA is a national level competition.

We have a good hostel facility also. A room of 4*4 meter. Is given between two students. The fee for hostel is 7000 INR per annum. Only m.s.university students can get the seat in the hostel so we have enough seats in hostel also. Common toilet and bathroom are provided on every floor. We have mess facility which provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and fast food also. 24-hour water and electricity facility is given.

Yes We have great alumni network named KAAF ( kalabhavan architects alumni foundation). These are the pass out students of our college and they are very helpful in terms of internship, job, placement etc.

In our department, we have 5 studios ( classroom). The examination held in these 5 studios only. We have to give two exams per semester. One is mid. Sem exam and end sem exam. Mid sem exam weights 20 marks and end sem exam weights 80 marks. The total score from 100 marks is count in the results. The minimum passing marks are 45 out of 100. Yes we have a little hard exam structure.

First you have to clear NATA exam with atleast 80 marks out of 200. The you have to register yourself on ACPC website which is government site for college admissions. Once you applied on ACPC then they will declare a merit list which will show your marital rank. For admission in m.s. university you have to score min. 75 marks cut out. That means should should have max. 47th merit rank in merit list ( for general category). Now ACPC website gives mock addmssion round for the students. And then final addmssion round. In final addmssion round you have to choose your respective colleges in which you want admission. Then After 10-15 days results will declared and all students come to know in which college they got the addmssion. After getting admission in m.s.univeraity now on next day you have to go in administration building for resuffering of your admission and submit the documents. That's it. Now you are a student of m.s.university.

We have the best faculties of India. We have practicing architects as our faculty members. And also well known architects are coming as visiting faculty. Some faculties are working here since 35 years which is a little long time!. We get two faculties per subject. That means if one is absent in any case so the other one takes care of the course. And the faculties are actually well known architects also. So we have the best faculties in our college than any other college.
