Likes

The facilities are pretty good, the space created for work is decent as in architecture u need a good place to work
Faculties are the real charm of the college, the teachings are practical and preety much on the point
Infrastructure supports the course throughout the campus life, good workshop, library and computer lab.a

Dislikes

The water management is very bad in terms of drinking also and the clogged water in the campus after rainfall
The rules and regulations are pretty strict and makes living a somewhat difficult in the campus
Timings are a big issue and can cause exhaustion to the end of the day

Course Curriculum Overview

Architecture as a course can be very interesting as it uses the full capacity of brain and body. Personally I choose this course because it can be very creative and at a time very practical too, the course allows u to imagine and create

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per semester :- 1.25lakhs Fees per year :- 2.25lakhs All other duties and charges:- 10k If we see the course is of 5 years and the cost of stationary and suplies, including the educational trips is about 15 to 20 lakhs

Campus Life

So theirs no active club as far as I am concern, but their are many other co curriculars, a event every month so u really don't feel bored. The college is pretty much active in sports and thier are inter college and intra college sports competition yearly.

Admission

Institute of Architecture, Nirma University gives many opportunities as the college is situated in Ahmedabad and the city itself is termed as the architectural capital of India, Also the prestigious university creates a charm into it. A well managed college

Faculties are well dignified as they all practice actively (in their firms and associates) they have well knowledge about the practicality of the course and can guide u through it. Permanent faculties and as well as the visiting faculties are amazing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, personallly this curriculum i don't think it works well in small time they ask a hell of work we have to work sleepless nights and the work we ended up getting at last min is not that good sometimes and in real world somewhere it help us coz of we have similar level of stress to face , but in terms of design and solving problems not working well with this pattern they need to think of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is intensively, hard and vigourous but in terms of its relevance, It is very relevant to the real world and has many applications. There are many lectures by unique professionals which are arranged by the university to further guide the students and to give them various experiences. The college exposes the students to become modern architects. there is a focus on using all the new software which are available and not just follow the old ways.

Good college with fairly low fees

Remarks:

Faculties are very experienced and very helpful, but sometimes you feel like partiality happens in final gradings because are most of finale marks depends upon our annual works so there might be some dishonesty.

India's best school of Architecture

Remarks:

Overall I will say that it is the one of the best college in India. Here we get very nice environment, curriculum, experienced faculties etc. And this is what students need. We have a Nice management team also.

Reality of Nirma University

I gave my JEE Mains Exam in 2021 and i also appeared for various exams like VITEEE and BITSAT. I got selected in VIT Vellore under Computer Science domain. I also got selected in MIT WPU Pune under Electronics and Communication. The reason i chose this college is for its extensive infrastructure and placement records. I looked for Return of investment rather than how high the average placement is. Compared to the other colleges that i got selected for, Nirma University provided a better return of investment than them and the lab facilities and the course curriculum was an added bonus....Read More

Nirma also good at Education?? Or only at washing powder ??

My first choice is LD Engineering college, ahmedabad. LDCE is best for Mechanical, electrical students thats why I applied there but LDCE doesn't have much seats on JEE quota so I doesn't make it . Rather than LDCE I applied for PDEU and I Got ICT there but I Choose Nirma mechanical over PDEU ICT , because PDEU's culture is not good , Not much difference between placements of Nirma Mechanical and ICT of PDEU ....Read More
