This college was nearer to my home, so I had less traveling time. In the architecture field, it was a better college than any other nearer to my house. It had an engineering field with it so, engineering knowledge relating to my field of architecture was easy to get.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There are different studios in all semesters, like House, Climate studio, Campus studio, Institutional studio, Green studio, Urban studio, Housing studio. Other subjects include building construction techniques, building services, surveying-leveling, professional practice, etc.

Internships Opportunities

no, our college did not provide internship and we had to search on our own based on our work portfolio.

Placement Experience

1.5

There is no placements in our college every year, though this year placement was done in our college by two companies. One company selected four students from one year, out of 120. Job opportunities are more in different firms of different architects.

College Events

4.5

We had a festival which is quite famous, in which we had competitions, on the spots, games, sports, cultural, workshops, etc. We also have lectures by famous architects from Gujarat. Even past students were called and they share their experience from the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

total fees over here are 60k per year, which includes tuition fee only, and excludes exam fee, sports fee, etc. per semester fee is 32k for an odd semester and 29.5k for even semester. This fee is quite feasible for middle-class people to study. If any workshops were held fees for it was differently paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as i know no scholarship is available from this college. And no loan facility is available.

Campus Life

3

campus life over here is beautiful, as this college is surrounded by farms and greenery. There are more girls as compared to boys, i.e., 70% girls and rest 30% boys. We had a festival which is quite famous, in which we had competitions,on the spots, games, sports, cultural, workshops, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

seniors over here are helpful, but of manipulative nature through ragging. Though once being friends with them is good.

Exam Structure

We had most of the exams as juries and submissions of sheets which had internal marks only. Whereas some of the subjects had external written exams, which was 2-5 subjects in each semester. Though juries of the studio were hectic that give more time to think about our designs.

Admission

Admission in this college was through ACPC. This includes 50% NATA score and 50% 12th marks. First of all, we registered in ACPC online, then we had to wait for the merit list to come in few days. Through merit list i got opportunity to select few colleges in which i can take my admission, from which i got in SVIT, vasad

The curriculum is intensively, hard and vigourous but in terms of its relevance, It is very relevant to the real world and has many applications. There are many lectures by unique professionals which are arranged by the university to further guide the students and to give them various experiences. The college exposes the students to become modern architects. there is a focus on using all the new software which are available and not just follow the old ways.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced by the course was its subjects. mainly the design and planning I loved it so much that it forced me to choose it. This course is preparing me for real-world challenges as it teaches me the various design software, how to deal with clients (this we learned in our juries), most importantly how to be calm, and so on. It should have a D-D course. as it will be helpful for diploma students personally, I think the jury should have more time to prepare our best sheets.
