I got admission to this college through counselling based on JEE Main. Firstly I selected the college during online counselling. I had got 95% in my 10+2 boards which was also a plus point for me and helped me fetching this college.

The name itself will make you think that it must be an industry connected University. This is India's first steel university. The best branch here is metallurgy. I chose the college for its name itself, If you want metallurgy as your branch,i would say go for it, but for other branches,explore other options.

The eligibility of getting admission in B Tech in OP Jindal is 75% in 10+2 and clearing JEE mains I scored an aggregate of 91% in 12th standard and got 89 marks in JEE Mains which got me B Tech in OP Jindal in the first list itself.

This college is a great place for those who are serious about their future. the faculty members are excellent and guide the students whenever required. The infrastructure is also very beautiful. Student will feel safe inside the campus as well as in hostels.

There are various ways to get admitted in OP Jindal University, to study B.Tech. I appeared for the OP Jindal University Entrance Test (OPJUET) and after the results were out it was followed by an interview. Based on these I was admitted to the college.

For taking admission in OPJU, I had applied online on the official website. I had passed in intermediate with the at least 50% aggregate marks. Also, I appeared for JEE. Considering my good marks in the JEE exam, the college granted admission.

Overall, the college is a very good institution. no student will face any kind of problem during his or her stay in the college. the environment of the college student friendly and all the faculty and staff members are very supportive.
