SRM University AP BTech Admission 2023 is ongoing now. SRMJEEE 2023 Phase 1 result has been declared. Candidates may check results on the official website – srmist.edu.in. The SRMJEEE 2023 Phase 1 round 1 counseling will held from April 29, 2023 to May 10, 2023. The SRMJEEE 2023 Phase 1 round 2 counselling will be held from May 14 to May 24, 2023. Also, SRMJEEE Phase 2 exam will be held on June 10 and June 11, 2023. BTech at SRM University AP is a full-time program for a duration of 4 years. Admissions to the BTech program is based on SRMJEEE or JEE Main scores followed by counselling conducted by the university. Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and have a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission. SRM University AP offers BTech in multiple specializations i.e Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Application form for admission can be filled online on the official website of the university. Candidates qualifying the criteria will be called for counselling. Allotment of seats will be strictly on the basis of SRMJEEE Rank/ JEE Main Rank/ SAT Scores. SRM University AP also has a provision of direct admission based on spectacular academic performance. The students are also provided scholarships on merit cum need basis.

SRM University AP Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for BTech admission at SRM University AP, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

• Residents of India, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) holders of PIO and OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.
• The upper age limit for applicants is 21 years.
• The minimum age required to be eligible for admission is 16.
• It is necessary for the candidate to clear the higher secondary examinations (10+2 pattern) with PCM or PCB as major subjects.
• The minimum percentage of marks in PCM / PCB or CGPA obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination will be prescribed by the SRMJCCA from time to time.
• One must score 60% and above in PCM for admission to SRM Amaravati BTech program.
• The aggregate percentage of marks obtained in PCM / PCB in 12th Standard or equivalent should be calculated up to 3 decimal points.
• International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or an A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as major subjects from any international school.
• Candidates who have completed both 10th Standard as well as 12th Standard from National Institute of Open Schooling, will not be considered eligible for admission to any programme of SRM.
• Only those candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination in not more than 2 attempts, including an appearance for improvement can be considered eligible for admission.

SRM University AP BTech Admission 

Admission to BTech at SRM University AP are done through the SRMJEEE examination, conducted by the university. Candidates with valid JEE Main rank are also eligible for admissions. Candidates who clear the entrance examination will be called for counselling. The seat allocation will be based on SRMJEEE scores, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and other factors.

For the counselling process,

• The candidates will be required to select their choice of college and course.
• Candidates are then required to pay the annual tuition fee.
• The candidates will be called for counselling based on their rank in the merit list.
• Finally, the candidates will be allotted their seats.

Direct Admissions

SRM AP provides provision of direct admissions to certain candidates. The criteria for such admission is decided by the management and have been enumerated below:

• National board toppers: Merit list in either Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics or sub 5000 ranks in CBSE
• National entrance exam topper: Within 5000 ranks in IITJEE OR Within 1000 ranks in SRMJEEE
• State level board toppers: Within 100 ranks
• State level entrance exam toppers: Within 100 ranks
• NTSE/KVPY scholars
• INPHO/INCHO/INMO/INOI/INAO – National level Olympiad attendees (or higher levels such as national level camp or representing India in the international Olympiads in the same subjects)

SRM University AP BTech Application Process

The application process will be conducted online as well as offline (one can send the OMR sheet through safe means).

The application form is common for all SRM campuses.

• Register Using your Email Id.
• Once the Email address is verified, the candidate can proceed to fill up the online application.
• The application fee is Rs. 1100/- The candidate can pay the fees via e-payment or DD.
• Lastly, one has to upload their photograph and signature to successfully submit the application form. The candidate can also send the OMR application form through post.

For Offline Application,

The application form can be obtained from the university or can also be downloaded from its official website.

• The application is to be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.
• The applicant has to write their name in Block Letters as given in the 10th standard school certificate.
• After filling up the basic details, one will be required to mention their educational qualifications along with their campus preferences.
• The candidate shall select three test centres from the options provided.
• The candidate will be required to provide their email address for correspondence.
• One has to paste their recent photograph for identification purposes.
• Lastly, the candidate has to sign the declaration.

SRM University Placement

SRM University Amaravati recorded a 100% Placement Rate during BTech CSE, BTech ECE, and BSc Computer Science placements in 2023.  The highest package of INR 50 LPA & average package of INR 9.9 LPA were offered to B.Tech CSE students during the placement drive. Scholarship

Scholarships are offered to students on a merit cum need basis. Students will need to apply for the scholarship after the commencement of the courses. A scholarship panel will review each of the applications. There are four criteria for scholarships.

• Merit
• Economically Challenged
• Socially underprivileged
• Differently abled

Awarding of the scholarship will be entirely at the discretion of the Scholarships Panel.100% scholarships (tuition and accommodation fee waiver) will be provided to 1/6^th of the students.50% scholarships (tuition fee only) will be provided to1/3^rd of the students.
