All about my college life

Likes

There are good faculties for each subjects. And also there are many labs for students.
There is a great cricket ground where we used to play cricket daily.
The hostel rooms are quite big enough for the students

Dislikes

Cricket ground is good but maintenance is not done regularly.
Hostel management is very poor. There are unnecessary restrictions on us.
There are only few shops inside as well as outside our campus. We have to go 5 km far for our daily shopping

Placement Experience:

Many good companies comes to our college but only few students are selected. Also students are less awared of the placement opportunities despite of having good skills in their respective field of domain

College ki pol khol

Likes

Teachers teaching method is good like every subject becomes easy by the way they teach us . And their other faculty they are also good
Cultural group of the college as I am also in the dance club. College management supports all the cultural clubs
Canteen of the college best the food they serve is amazing

Dislikes

First of all they used to ask fee of next semester in the mid of starting of current semester
They took so much time to do any legal work like one faculty can do that but they used to traverse us to all the faculty
Some teachers are kind of partial so yeah I really don't like and they do partially among students

Course Curriculum Overview:

So I am a diploma holder in computer science and while I was pursuing diploma my interest were increasing abruptly in this field so thats why I choosed bachlors in computer science also. See there is no work of any curriculum because it's only upto student , teachers will complete the syllabus and they give some other knowledge also , they give some industrial information also, but for being able to face the world is only upto the student how they are preparing themselves

Review - IKGPTU AMRITSAR

Likes

Faculty is really very nice in this college.
Senior students are really helpful and there's a nice interaction as well as mentorship.
Cultural Activities are well promoted here.

Dislikes

Campus is a little bit small and infrastructure can be improved
Lack of hostel is too inconvenient for the outerstate students
Sometimes the lectures aren't taken on time

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit the campus and most of the students get a decent job.In the final year everyone has a good job in hand even some of them went off campus and got a really nice package.Students have also went into Government Sector and prepared for GATE.

The campus life was lively and engaging, with many student-led events, clubs, and activities. it easy to get involved in extracurricular activities that aligned with my interests, whether they were related to academics, sports,
coding competitions were done which enhancing the skills to see what should he gain and what should not be
library was very vast and different genres of books were available there

Dislikes

infrastructure need to be more developed
ac are not working properly , need to be serviced
washrooms tap water are leaked and there is water everywhere inside , sweeping is not done properly

Placement Experience:

there are placements coming in the colleges kike capegmini p,phooing minds , schnider electric p,p solatier infosys , piesoft , and many more mostky students got placed the highest package was of Microsoft is of 24 lpa

Explorative college

Likes

Faculties are well supported towards students.
Campus is situated in well known place in city.
Classrooms have air conditioners and have projectors installed.

Dislikes

Campus size is too small and library is not sufficient
Our campus don't have its own playground
We don't have wifi facility in our campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timing of exam is good .we have gap of around 2 to 3 weeks between mid term examination.area of improvement in the course curriculum is that it needs to be updated according to new technologies

Nice college to explore

Likes

The college organize tournament like cricket and
Clubs like python club and Dsa club is on top to gain knowledge
Coding bytes, debate competition and many hackathon is organised

Dislikes

Faculty like guest faculty are not consistent and competent
The favourite Student get favour for the different promotion
The hostel is at very baad condition at all.

The curriculum is easy to grab and score because the curriculum is outdated The practical experience is low because in our training program only way to get the insight of the industrial training. The labs are good and equipped

Nice College to explore

Likes

They organised a fest ,they organised fresher
They organised cricket, bedminton,and many more sports
They organised many compitions like debet,English poster etc

Dislikes

Sometimes the faculty are arrogant and don't listen
Hostel facility is not up to mark and have to manage by ourselves
The club is all in vain and they select their favourite

The curriculum is easy to understand and pass it as it don't meet the industry level but is good to score ny studying one week before The teaching method is overall satisfactory as the professor used to teach their best

Campus Review for IKGPTU, Amritsar Campus

Likes

Good ventilation and every class has Air conditioners.
Technical labs with modern equipments and Personal computers.
Affordable Fee structure along with highly supportive teachers.

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure, washrooms are not properly maintained.
Less involvement in sports and youth festivals.
Canteen is not good as well as canteen's staff is rude.

Placement Experience:

On campus Placements are average here. The highest package goes to 19 lakhs and Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. However we can not expect any MNC to visit this campus but the companies for freshers and to gain experience visit the campus.

Likes

First is they provide better infrastructure and environment for students.
They understand the students problem and help in many ways.

Dislikes

Some time issue about the teachers availability.

Placement Experience:

In the starting of final year ( 7 semester) student are eligible for campus placement. The condition of campus placement is that you should have atleast 7 CGPA without any backlog. At that the Highest packege is 13 LPA.

Worst college life Experience.

Likes

HOD is good because his ideas are really helpful for students.
Fees is kind of genuine but still its not worth that they are offering...
Air conditioner in all campus classes but some didn't work...

Dislikes

Faculty members are not good and they don't know how to teach.
Department people eat alot of money which comes as a fund (no proof)
Always asking for attendance idk why we should come if teachers dont know how to teach..
