Likes
- The amount of diverse programs that SJU offers is significant as be it any stream arts, science or commerce over hundred programs are available here.
- A learning experience which is no short of robust is provided here.
Dislikes
- Study life balance becomes a mismatch here as studies are too rigorous here.
Fees and Financial Aid:
SJU Bangalore is little expensive and therefore fees for my BA course is 1.11 lakhs. Karnataka government runs a lot of scholarship programs and thus not just SC/ST students but even the who scores well in entrance can bring down their fees significantly through those scholarship programs.
Likes
- college is very liberal and inclusive for all people
- excellent teaching faculty who are very helpful
Dislikes
- a little overcrowded now but its mostly not that bad due to multiple shifts
- unorganised at times and tends to remind events to the last minute
Fees and Financial Aid:
fee for a non karnataka resident is 123000 that us tuition fees and application was around 1 thousand there were no details provided regarding scholarships but fees under reservation is lesser and fee is also leaser for karnataka residents and more for nris
Likes
- Firstly the campus is so vibrant that it can attract anyone.
- There are a lot of gardens inside the campus and I must say are the best places to unwind as college schedule is quite hectic.
Dislikes
- Groupism exists and local students make their own group and Kannada is the most commonly used language on the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees increased from first year to second year as it was 140000 and then it became 160000 the next year. Apart from OBC reservation that I availed there are various other scholarships that are available in our university. General category students have to pay a shade over 2 lakhs a year.
Likes
- Unlike other private universities, St Joseph is one of those rare universities which is not money minded as education is given more importance here.
- Placements are great and way above so called private universities who do paid PR.
Dislikes
- Parking is not good
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees is around One lakh Fifty thousand but I got minority scholarship and therefore I got 25% discount in my fees. Similarly their are many such scholarships that can help you manage the cost of education but having said that St Joseph University isn't that expensive.
Likes
- The atmosphere of the campus was very good.
- The faculty members are very good and friendly with students.
Dislikes
- Parking fees is very high in our college.
- The stationary which we buy in the campus is very expensive
Fees and Financial Aid:
The complete cost of my education was around 100000. It depends on what course you are choosing. There were scholarship which was provided by the jesuit education. And you will get a 100% placement in our campus. More tha 100 companies come every year. Even the top most rated companies come here
