IIIT Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements are quite nice. Right now the average placement package is 20 lakhs. There are several companies that visited our college like google, Microsoft, Deloitte and many more. highest package is 54 lakhs and the lowest is around 9 lakhs.

Students can get an internship from 3rd year for an on-campus internship and off-campus can be from 1st year, there is an eligibility criterion for placement, 100% get placed, all major companies visit the campus and 53 lpa is the highest and 17 lpa is an average package.

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it covers all the filed related to academics and nonacademics. The faculty-student ratio is good and the faculty is very supportive. Faculties are well-qualified government level and hold a Ph.D. degree. Term Exams were on time and the level of exams was medium.

The average package of our campus is 17.77 LPA for CSE and 16.25 LPA overall with top companies such as Adobe, YugabyteDB, Microsoft, Samsung , Intuit etc., Visiting our campus every year and our placement cell is very co operative and give weekly trainings to the students who are yet to be placed

Placements are just fabulous and mind-blowing as avg. of 2022 placement report is around 16.83 LPA which is quite good. Many big MNCs and companies visited the college. The highest package was 55 LPA on campus and around 64 LPA off campus.

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards and various companies come to give internships and PPOs to the students. The students got placed in Google, Microsoft, Intel, Atlassian, Nutanix, yugabyteDB, Cognizant, and many other big tech giants The highest package offered is 53 LPA by yugabyteDB for the SDE role. The average package is approx 16.5 LPA for SWE, SDE, and other related roles. Almost 100 percent of the eligible students are placed with very good packages in top MNCs. Although my plan after my graduation is not fixed I'm also expecting to join an MNC with a good package

Since Computer Science is the most demanding course these days and has a wide scope, so I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is approx 1:40 which is quite good. The faculties are duly qualified in their field and are experienced. Some have an exceptional teaching method that makes the subject interesting while others adopt the traditional method of teaching. Overall the teaching method is good. The exams are conducted three times per semester- term 1, term 2, and end-semester exams. The term exams are an hour long while the end sem exams last for 3 hours. As of now, in term examinations, there are exams of two subjects per day and in endsem one subject exam is there per day. If you prepare properly for the exams and start studying well before the exams, they are not that difficult to pass. I would say, if you start preparing two weeks before the exams, you can easily get a decent CGPA. Some exams are lengthy while others we can complete well before time.

The campus placements start in the 7th sem. There are a lot of companies that visit college. A few of them are amazon, Microsoft, media.net, intuit, nutanix, etc. The highest package offered was 53lpa by the gigabyte. The average package is around 18 LPA.

The placements are great. The companies start hiring candidates from the 5th semester and hire till the 8th semester. The average package offered to students is more than 1600000. Almost all the students got placed.

The placements are good. Companies like Microsoft nutanix visit the college regularly. This year Amazon was also hired from the college. The average package of the previous year is 16.75 lac and this is going to increase.
