Hostel Facilities:

One Room Contains 4 Guys We Have Pretty Good Bunk Beds And Cupboard Chair And Table For All...Also There Is Common Bathrooms Mostly 2 On A Single Floor Which Contains Both Indian And Foreign Toilet Facility!!!

I liked the message food, and variety there

In a room 2 double beds will available, means 4 students will accommodate in a room , for each student there will a chair and table , and also a almirah will be provided. Hostel charge is 40000 per semester and 20000 for mess food per semester

IIIT Pune Detailed Review

College is nice but some of teacher you might not like as some of them are not as good. Mess food we can say is average not too good but some time bad too.
There are bunkers bed in the hostel which i can say that it is not Good is shakes when upper berth person go up or get down . There is Hostel balcony but rooms we can say are small for the 4 peoples.

In the Hostel There will be given ethernet port and wire. One almirah and one bed . In the bed you need to bring your own gaddi. One balcony is also there which is also nice. Mess Food is average with 4 time Schedule. In Morning Nasta is given around 8am to 9:30 am. And Luch is froom 12:30 to 2:30 . There is evening snack which is average aroung 5 pm. Dinner is aroung 8 pm to 9:30 which is decent. There is not PG or room around the college Campus. Near PG is Around 4-5km In dy patil.

College Campus Review of IIITP

Every room has 2 bunk beds (4 people). and 4 almirahs (big ones, lowkey W), and 4 desks and 3 ethernet spaces. The only con is the spacing is a littles less for 4 students. The registration process etc is very easy. NO issues whatsoever. No PG is needed. Perfect destination.. Feels like a holiday

Hostel management is a bunch of dumbficks
As the new campus has just begun in 2025, a lot of things are not here like night canteen.

Student Snaps:

The hostels are 4 sharing room with some rooms having balcony and some not having balcony. The rooms have Ethernet ports. Meal quality is okayish and is better than most mess but still you will get bored if you eat for a lot of days. Registration process is pretty easy for hostel and it also is pretty affordable at 70k per year.

It's tough to find food delivery restaurants here especially at night
Since the hostels and campus are new there are issues related to internet, water supply and others

The rooms are small and 4 students are there per room. Some rooms have balconys while others just have windows. Mess food is just average, it can improve. There are common bathrooms and the hostel staff and all are strict about timings and many activities are restricted especially at night

The honest review on iiit pune new campus by a fresher !!!

The internet is also good in lan with near 900mbps

Rooms are conjusted and not spacious 4 people in a room
The hostel facilities like not hot water for bath
Wifi is horrible in hostel, u nearly cant get wifi in hostel.

As this is a new campus we dont get a good wifi, we dont get hot water to bath, but besides there are 3 lan ports for a 4 person room !! So one of us have to give hotspots through laptop. There is no gym no cafeteria. The mess food is kind of ok until now. The admission process was the worst, we had to wait for 4-5 hours for admission where i and my parents didnt even had lunch, which was worst experience i ever had here.

IIIT PUNE AS EXPERIENCED BY A FRESHER.

Mess food quality is not bad also not good enough.
Freshers accommodation includes bunker beds with 4 students in a room but the rooms are big enough so not much problematic. More hostels could be a solution.

We got bunker beds here with 4 people in a room for the first year. More hostels might be built to counter that but the rooms are pretty big so thats not a sort of issue. We also provided separate table chair and a almirah each and every room got a balcony to adore the hilly views nearby. We go to tracking on the mountain neaby often. Mess menu is also good compared to other iiits and the quality of food is also good (not extraordinary according to the fees)

Life at iiit pune

We are not provided with almirah we have open racks for clothes and stuff some students got it and not all we are provided with hot water for bathing and drinking water filtered meal is your choice as mess is not mandatory but average rate per thali is 60 ruppe

Hostel rooms are good and spacious. There are 4 students in one room in boys hostel.The mess is also good with breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner provided. Meal quality is good and the menu is diverse.
