Faculty are very good and helpful and teaching style is good
Yes here are few scholarships which help students to get relief from financial burdens such as national scholarship and major state scholarship policies like mmvy fir mp students
The view in the vicinity of the campus is quite the beauty one might love to enjoy

Dislikes

The campus life is not that exciting because of very limited facilities provided in the college premises. sports activities are also very limited
The mess food is also not good. we are paying more amount for mess. but the food is not good.
The campus gives jobs in good amounts but students still lagging.

About my college

Likes

Due to being in iiit my college have good alumni netowrk and have a reputation in the market
It is based on the public private parternship
Teachers are very coordinative They all are p.h.d holders

Dislikes

College is in developing stage so college life is not there
Proper hostel is not there for students most of the students including me live outside
College location is not good it is very far from main city

Placement Experience:

Not all students eligible for placement if any student had back in any subject then they are not eligible for placements first they have to clear their back then they are eligible from 6th semester students can apply for placements.Wipro Infosys,tata like many companies visited for placement highest pakage was of 40lpa and average pakage is of 16lpa and median pakage is 12lpa . Around 80% students placed this year.

Student vs college

Likes

Infrastructure is good and many lifts are provided with a space of about 13 people
Most pf the Teachers are phd holders from renowned colleges
Interaction with seniors is possible if you participate in fest events

Dislikes

Female interaction is very little which will become problem in future aspects
Teachers are well qualified but many of them doesn't know how to teach
Limited seats in hostel which is very annoying

Placement Experience:

Yes our college have campus selection and many companies visited our college for campus selection such and our average package is around 16 lpa and highest package is 63 lpa in campus selection and 83 lpa outside the campus which was offered to two ece branch students

Unveiling IIIT NAGPUR: A comprehensive Review

Likes

The faculties are very good and supportive
The seniors are also very excellent and supportive
There is a internship cell for eligible students

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not properly built
The college schedule is very busy and hectic
The location of college is about 25km from Nagpur

Placement Experience:

The student became eligible for campus from 1st year itself, almost every reputed company visited our college in last few years,the package is also good,and about 80-90 percent of students gets placed

Every amenity available in college is working at its best. Teachers are also very supportive as well and almost all have very great teaching experiences and are can say mastered in their field
IIIT NAGPUR is an college of national importance and due to this it has a lot benefits as well. We get an opportunity to participate in Many various fields and develop soft skills. Seniors here are also very supportive as well
Travelling in campus is quite easy as all the buildings are present in an close vicinity

Dislikes

I think the mess food provided at college might be improved and hygeine should be maintained
The college is present in an out area and its not in nagpur city so this causes sometimes a lot of difficulties for us
Hostel availability is not as good as most of student should have to stay in pgs or private hostels due to less availability.exception for girls

Placement Experience:

Like from semester 3 many students become eligible for campus placements and good amount of students start to do internships from year 2 only. Many reputed companies visit our college every year like tcs , zomato , amazon , nvidia and many more.average package is also good and students are getting placed despite of recession going on.

The developing college

Likes

Bsst faculty ever I meet all professor well experience of teaching they are very supportive
Labs are conducted on daily basis which are very helpful for learning
Campus is very clean and neat. The things which are present are all best

Dislikes

No hostel for all students most of us have to leave outside
Worst mess food even after doing complaint

Course is good as I am for Computer science and engineering for first year the subject are common for ECE and CSE but from 2nd year we have to l learn only special subject related to CSE couse is also well planned

IIIT Nagpur - Full detailed Review

Likes

The college has a good infrastructure of classrooms though less in quantity but full air conditioner and in proper maintainance.
Faculties are quite friendly and has brilliant teaching abilities.
Well equipped labs, and academically strong.

Dislikes

Currently the college doesn't have any sports infrastructure.
The college is placed in remote location. Also.the girls to boys ratio is less approximately 1:18.
Hostel has limited seats so it is alloted on first cum first basis.

The placement statistics for 2024 are the highest package was 45 lakhs per annum the average package was 13.25 lakhs per annum and midden package was 11 lakhs per annum the companies visited were yellow AI Accenture TCS Infosys tech Mahindra. The students are applicable to appear for placements in the 4th year the college encourages to have internship from the first or second year the 2024 batch has the 80% placement rate.

MY COLLEGE BEST COLLEGE FOR ME

Likes

I like my college very nice .there will be less girls.for 10 boys there is one girl.my college has nice infrastructure
Faculty is amazing.my campus is full of greenary.all equipment are available in our campus.nice conversation.
My course is very nice.our campus placement is also very nice.there will be many internships.it can develop you very well.

Dislikes

There should be some more grounds for students
More canteens should also be placed and hostel romm also has to be improved
More buildings should be placedd for academic and hostel blocks.

My course is computer science and engineering.it will give me various options in future to live.like ai.ds In my course no improvement is needed .all my teachers teaches well.my exam timings are morning 10 to1

A glimpse of my college life

Likes

The alumni network is very good and the coding culture is very good which provides us an opportunity to improve ourselves in our domain skills.
The placements of the college are very good due to the amazing training and placement cell which brings various good companies to our college for internships and placements.
There are several extracurricular clubs available like there are for music , acting , dance , drama , competitive programming , painting ,etc

Dislikes

The high amount of fees makes it quite difficult to pay and thus requires us to take education loans.ed
There is a quite peer pressure like everyone is very competitive with each other and due to the different capabilities of individuals,it creates unhealthy pressure.
The papers are very tough The syllabus is not completed on time.Almost 85% of syllabus is completed one day prior to the exam and thus which requires us whole night before the paper to study.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, students are eligible for placements.The placements in our college are very good.The average package is 15 Lpa whereas the highest package went was 90 lpa .In the final year , various big companies visit our campus to offer internship and pre placement offers. There are more than 150+ companies coming to our college for providing internship opportunities and placements. 90% of the students get placed after the college.My plans are to opt for the job after college completion .

IIIT Nagpur- Real Talk

Our college does not have a strict rule for attendance.
There are people from all over the country, hence you get diversity.
Nagpur is a decent city and college is not far from airport.

Dislikes

Hostel Life is dead. Our college is in outskrits and thus children have nowhere to go for leisure time.
Food options are abysmal. There are no good restaurants nearby. Our college canteen also has very few options.
No Female Reservation and thus our college has mostly boys.

Placement Experience:

I guess from 7th Semester , students get eligible to sit for placements, From 5th semester, companies start visiting for internship roles. Placewit, SLB, SMS DataTech (Japan) are the three companies that have come for my batch to provide internship roles. Highest Package till date has been 86LPA which was offcampus. Average Package is around 12 to 13 Lakhs. We are unaware of the real placement stats. Overall Placement (including oncampus and offcampus should be 60% i guess) My plans is to find job.

Struggling but growing

This college is still in its growing phase so compared to that it will be a good college for future students.

Dislikes

The electronics department professors are so rude.
No non-veg in the mess is not available.

College placement is good but not so great. You need good cgpa to seat for placement and also most of the company come for internship opportunities, few companies come for job opportunities. You need more than 7.5 cgpa to seat in placement process
