8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Nothing special but something different

Likes

Strong alumni network is one of the important positive side of ktu. The strong alumni network is very important and beneficial for the students career.
University has a well equipped lab libraries and other facilities that support overall development of the student. University also support research and innovative ideas.
University mainly focus on industry oriented curriculum so that the students get practical knowledge in a well manner

Dislikes

Limited campus life is one of the major issue faced by students from the University. By this limitation students are unable to meet their needs in extra curricular activities
Exam pattern and it's schedule is highly hectic and it creates unwanted stress in students. Limited no.of working days and holidays make students worse at the end of the semester
Slow processing of paper and lack of transparency is also another challenge. Official website got time out during important day.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester itself students can sit for placement. College offering a wide placement opportunity. But the amount of students getting selected is less than 20 from each department. Different companies for various departments are coming for placement. Coming to my department there is a only 2 or 3 companies had only visited our campus. L&T , tata,etc are major ones. The package starting from 2.5 lakh to 8 lakh per annum based on the skills offered by the student.

The Campus is ambient and the vibe is 100 percent.
The teaching quality in fisat is excellent and the faculties are good and will support you throughout the course

Dislikes

The mess food should be improved for vegans

Around 90 percent of the students are getting placed after the course.Top recruiters are Wipro,TCS, Sutherland, Cognizant, Telk.You will be supported by placement cell officers in the college and other faculties

Likes

Best teachers and friendly environment. Teaching method is good and very understanding. Conducts various activities for improving our skills
Various events are conducted like - tech fest, arts day, sports day, freshers day etc. for improving and showing our talents and skills.
Healthy and competitive type of interest branch .events are organised. And anti ragging college

Dislikes

Busy schedules. Deadlines are very short in completion of projects and activities
Tight schedules of exams and need to manage studys and events simultaneously

Placement Experience:

Placement are usually from IT companies. Where I got placed in our HOD Company. Which was a new experience for me . As a fresher don't expect high salary. Since it's not possible .after attaining experience one can move forward towards there career

College history and infrastructre is excellent
hostel life is unforgetable. I got so much memories from there

Course Curriculum Overview:

we have 8 semesters in 4 years. Every semester has 2 internal exams and 1 main exam. To write the main exam we need to pass both the internal exams. The curriculum is well-planned and correct way of order. it helps to improve our knowledge year by year. exam is very difficult most times. there is 3 parts in the question paper. For every part, we have 6 questions. out of 6, we need to answer 4 questions

Likes

Good ambience and atmosphere very good teachers.
Encouragement in sports and extra curricular activities.
Very good carrier guiedence and placement training classes.

Dislikes

Cant go out from college during college hours.
High demand and competetion for admission.
College location is bit inward public transportation facilities are limitted.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5th/6th sem.Wipro Infosys TCS etc... are most common companies.Many students get placed.Getting a good Placement with good package is all students dream.Average sallary package is more than 3.5lakhs.

College provide a good placement opportunity for the student. Most of the students get placed at many companies at the end of seventh semester even with one or two backlogs. But it is good if we clear the backlogs by end of seventh semester

Insights and Reflections on My College Journey

Likes

The college provides a very scenic ambience which is really good to focus in the studies.
The faculties too are from very renowned universities across India
A lot of co-caricular activities such as art fest Tech fests etc are conducted for the upliftment and entertainment of students

Dislikes

The syllabus is vast and the allotted time to cover all these portions are too little
The works like assignments are too hectic and very small gaps would be provided in between the exams for studying

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually provided from the college itself by the end of 5th semester. A lots of students are getting placed in good companies. But the package would be ratherless for a beginner like and average package provided would range between 2,40,000 - 4,50,000

The campus is vast and is situated in an environment friendly nature
Campus placement is available for every department

Dislikes

A bit strict college which is good,but still.
Celebrations are very minimal that lasts only for a single day

Our college provides placement oppertunity very well. There are placements available for all departments. Computer science have more placement oppertunities,but that doesn't mean other departments have less I got placed at Bangalore through college placement

The greenery of the college is so attractive.
The faculty support for our studies are impressive.
The classroom and classmates are good and friendly.

Dislikes

The canteen food is not that impressive.
The toilet facilities for male are not that clean.
The hostel facilities and the food there are not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum are good. As our course is new in Kerala University, the curriculum is a mixture of other courses. The subjects are from every department. It's a new subject and it's interesting too.

Our college is situated in an expansive 85 acres campus, providing more space and numerous areas to explore.
Our college provide one of the best placement offers compared to other institutions with 710+ offers, 75+ companies with a highest offer of 32 LPA
Our college B tech courses in 7 departments and also offering M Tech courses in each department. Architecture and MCA courses are also provided

Dislikes

Our College have frequent political issues
Tech fests and Art fests in terms of quality falls behind other reputed colleges
College is failure in managing wastes and maintain college clean

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, students will be eligible for campus placements. For the batch of 2022, they got 710+ offers from 75+ companies. The higher offer is 32 LPA and the average salary is 6.8 LPA. The companies include many multi-national companies, Indian companies and startups. The popular companies include Larsen & Toubro, Oracle, and Reliance.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur.
