I took KEAM entrance examination to join this college. The only reason i joined in this college, because its the best college in Kerala for computer science students. The college also has an excellent placement record.

Entrance Preview:

I took KEAM - Kerala Entrance Exam. It is one of the few technical institutions in South India, which admits students mostly on a merit basis through an All Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. Admission to this institution requires good ranks in this examination.

Remarks:

Nehru college of engineering and research centre is the institution accredited by NAAC. The college provides most leading companies for the placement of students. Student needs to clear all papers to attend the placement. INFOSYS TCS IBM are some of the leading companies came to our college.

Anna University is ranked as follows:

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
