Dislikes

75% is mandatory to your each subject if not then they will not allow to sit in sem exams
Teachers are so strict you have to complete there assignments

Placement Experience:

This is my honest review in Amity University Ranchi placement are so much good comparetively to other colleges in all over Jharkhand if you Rasonate your skills if u are build your skills you will definitely crack your placement. And the placement coordination & internship coordination helps very much in tym of interview In 2024 many company visited like SAP labs , Flipkart , Wipro , Deloitte , Airtel , TCS, Dell and many more .

Title of a great student life

This university of was every function can celebrate
This university was student was rule followed

Dislike of a schhol ya university discipline nothing

Amity Review in a Nutshell

Likes

Good Leadership Opportunities. I'm serving as the Class representative since Semester 1 and in addition to that they offered me Student Co Head post for Student Committee in my Department as well
Good Placement. I was recently offered a very good package in my final year itself.

Dislikes

Few faculties are rude which is expected in normal worldwide scenario.
The Cultural societies seemed a little Biased for some reason.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. I was offered a good ROI infact. If you work hard for it, the university will support you. In BCA, the highest package offered in my batch was 7.12 LPA and Average package is approximately 4 LPA. More than 7-8 companies have already visited in pre final semester. We are eligible to sit for placement from Final year onwards. Since I'm placed, ill be joining the company.

Campus is much greater than expected.greenery all around.
Faculaties are helpful and knowledgeble.

Dislikes

Everything has pros and cons.college is situated i extension.
Need improvement in creating more number of events.

Placement Experience:

On-campus placements are good.provides an average package of 4-5 lakh per annum.Big mncs also visit for campus placements.If you are skilled placements are much easier.overall placements are good and even.

My experience as a BCA Stuent at Amity Patna

Likes

College Faculty (specifically for BCA Most of them were decent and good)
The girl to boys ratio is 8:40 for BCA,MCA and it is significantly more for BBA and BA LLB

Dislikes

Too much events (completing the syllabus is not important but event is)
Schedule (they notify you 6 hours before exam or practical that there is practical)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is decent like the courses in BCA are good but you have to learn it and can not depend on college to teach you as sometimes 1 module gets completed in one day and too many projects are there with assignments

Amity Kolkata : Affordable and Royal

Likes

Campus life is very nice with overall ambience and culture of a positive sorroundings
Infrastructure is one of the best, with centrally air conditioned and very well maintaned greenery in the campus.

Dislikes

The location of the campus is a bit rempote and far from the main city and one may end up paying more than required to transport.
The Faculty of the IT department is not upto the mark but teaching pattern and examination style balances the load

Placement Experience:

From semester 4 the internship drives are on in this course and semester 5 the students are selected for placement drives. Some companies which visited are Google, Sap Labs, IBM, amazon, Cognizant, Hp. The highest package offered this year was 6.7 lpa and average was 3 lpa. Around 40% students are placed. I am planning to pursue a masters in CA after this course.

Good curriculum, lecs are scheduled properly, faculty is nice.
They provide placements as well like they keep on advertising about the placements on students portal

Dislikes

Books are delivered late i mean exams were about to start in 10 days and still the books didnt reach to students.
The placements opportunities are on site which is hood but locations are not feasible for most students

Placement Experience:

Amity does provide placements opportunities. Students become eligible from 4th sem, the placements are from giant companies llike tata Mahindra and Mahindra. I have not really participated in any drive beacause of the work location. But the minimum package is 3lakh.

I like that we have to come in proper uniform ..
Classrooms are fully air conditioned so no worries in summer

Dislikes

Campus is not big enough and ground is not even ready yet
Attending Regular classes feels like im in school.

Amity appreciate every field of students, no matter whatever field he or she is related sports , games , technology , startup, event managemet, fitness , Athlete
In every 2-3 week amity organize events or fest .

Dislikes

Attendance marking system is too-much strict, if you are punch-in late with1 minutes or 1 second then amity attendance system will not be able to mark you present.
Somtimes Amity cannot fulfil the avialabilty of Faculties.

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester students are eligible for campus placements and internship programs. Many companies visited like : Infosys, wipro, microsoft, ciena, saxo etc. The highest package offered of BCA students is 22 lakh per annum and his name is Munawar Alam passed out in 2022. First i search for campus placements, if i get it, it's good and if not them i will continue my father's buisness.
