The college tution fees and other expenses are very high compared to public university.

Campus Chronicles: An in-depth college review.

The fees increases by 5% every semester. The fee is to be paid after every semester. Currently in my 5th semester it is 1,24,000. Everything is included in the fees only like the lab charges. Beside this there was a security amount of 5000 which was submitted during the admission and is supposed to be returned to us by the end of our degree The college does not provide any scholarship as such. There is a category for students who have lost their parents during COVID19, and honestly I'm not sure about that as well if they provide it or not.

Great campus and excellent facilites.

Tuition fees increases in a minimal rate per year. But the excellent facility is of its scholarship. They provide you scholarship every year, if you are good enough in your performances. As a fresher, you get scholarships based on your 12th marks and after that each year you get it on the basis of your CGPA. The entire details is given in their official website.

we have college till 6pm in the evening and 9 am in the morning

Tution fee increases for every new semester by 10 percentage. Currently our total fee sums up to about 15 to 16 lacs for the entire course. For every new Academic fee is increased by a certain percentage

A Prime Opportunity but a Mixed Bag overall

The fee structure remains to be on the higher end. However, on- admission merit scholarships are provided to students based on their class 12 CBSE results. Based on college results too, a 30% scholarship is provided to merit achievers after the completion of 1 year. However, placement is average.

Biotech at Amity, good choice

You get the scholarship from admission itself if you have above 75% in 12th and after that, it gets continued to future sets if you get good grades, You get a money-back kind of scholarship, after payment of fees you get some amount back, The range is from 20% to 50% discount in fees.

Excellent Infrastructure with inefficient teachers and average placements

Unfortunately, I've seen more cons than pros at Amity. The fees for admission are quite high for locals and even higher for NRI students like me. Compared to the high admission fees, they offer placements at just 2 or 3 fortune 500, average to some low-level companies. Honestly speaking, it is assumed that NRIs will anyways work abroad, and when this idea gets engendered in the dept, they are subjected to indirect harassment by the departmental placements in charge. No matter how well students performed at the interviews, universities like this one have some kind of deal with the companies behind the scenes to select backbenchers, and low achievers whose future doesn't seem too bright in that company, and CRs included, obviously. Many of the fellow international students were also subjected to such dirty politics during the placement process. It is an utter waste of time, money, and merit getting admission to this university, that cant train students on the current technologies.
