In terms of placement BITS, Pilani Hyderabad has a top-notch record, especially for my branch of Computer Science. 7th and 8th Semester students are eligible for campus placements. A total of around 300 companies visited the campus last year and around 710 on-campus offers were made. Some of the major companies that hire from the campus are Microsoft, Apple, Google, Uber, DE Shaw, Adobe, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc. The highest domestic package offered last year was 45LPA and the institute average was around 16 LPA with the average package of the CS branch being around 28 LPA. CS branch saw a 100% placement record while in the entire institute around 97% of students were placed. In the current placement drive, the highest domestic package offered is 82 LPA by Atlassian. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a good IT company placement.

Most students get placed in their fourth year but a lot of students get internships and PPOs in their third or even second years. A lot of companies visit the campus and almost all students get placed. To name a few companies, Flipkart, Amazon, Uber, Microsoft, Adobe etc, visited the campus this year.
