- The Tech culture here is pretty bad but it is improving
- The Whole college is run by students so there is a lot of politics involved in mots of the positions with authority

- Ours is the youngest of all campuses of Bits Pilani and hence we are growing our own culture here.
- We hardly have to step out as we have more than enough Hangout facilities in campus itself.
- Theres an all night canteen in the campus and therefore if mess food is iffy, we always have the option to go there for meals.
Dislikes
- Alumni network is not so strong and therefore placements are not even half of Bits Pilani.
- Balanced academic life is missing as too many events and either miss out on those or studies.

- I like the infrastructure as all the buildings including hostels are newly built and are cleaned everyday, there are modern facilities and the campus is a green campus
- The faculty is well versed in their teaching patterns and are interactive thus solves students doubts
- The other students are of the cream layer of indian soceity, they provide sharing of knowledge and also the alumni network is very strong

- There are no washing machine in hostel, one must go to the shopping place for giving clothes to wash
- The location is away outside the city thus commute is challenging

- The student crowd is really good, aspiring students. The college complements the students and helps them build their life.
- The infrastructure is world class and everything needed is available on the campus, from food to medicines to groceries, everything.
- BITS has some of the best fests happening. 3 namely ATMOS - tech fest, PEARL - cultural fest, and ARENA - sports fest.
Dislikes
- Initially I struggled to get along people as I didn't speak Hindi.
- Cost of living on campus is a bit expensive, but food prices are reasonable.

- The boys and girls ratio is very decent compared to other colleges which is around 1:4
- The campus environment is very good with a lot of trees
- We have a system which is relatable to a credit card syst

- students can choose many different kinds of electives which are different from their main course work also.
- The faculty are extremely experienced and have a proper research group under them who work as our lab teaching assistants and always are there to guide us.
- students are allowed to use all lab equipment after taking permission and are allowed to perform experiments by themselves. it's a hands on experience

- there is nothing in particular that i disliked.

- Greenery . There are trees and flower plants all over the campus and are well mainained.
- Animals in campus. Dogs and cats live along us and are vaccinated and cared for.
- Attendance leniancy. 75%Attendance is not necessary to appear in exams.
Dislikes
- No accomodation facility for parents in campus.
- Campus is located outside city so sometimes cabs dont come in night or early morning times.
- The gender ratio is a bit lesscompared to other colleges.

- Course choice independence ,you are allowed to take any courses not of your discipline as well.
- Practice school -1 that happens right after 2nd year.
- Practice school -2 after 4th year gives you industry experience.
Dislikes
- Fees is high and is increasing every year.
- It is away from city so for some major things like laptop issue you need to travel to city.
- Means of transport outside campus to going to city is very expensive since it is very far.

BITS Hyderabad: 3 Answered Questions
How much marks should I score in the BITS-HD exam (M.E. in Civil Engineering) to get an admission to BITS Pilani or Hyderabad campus?
Here are the previous year's BITS HD cutoff for M.E. in Civil Engineering to get admission to BITS Pilani and Hyderabad.

Keep in mind the cutoff varies each year. You will need a score of around 150+ to be safe. BITS also accept GATE scores for M.E. admission.
BITS HD cutoff 2022 will be released after the announcement of results in the last week of June.
Should I prefer BITS-Goa or BITS-Hyderabad for an M.E. in computer science through the BITS HD exam?
For an M.E. in Computer Science, you should prefer BITS Hyderabad. The placements are slightly better for the Hyderabad campus. The city houses a lot of IT and Electronics companies, so it's easier to get good exposure and placements. The recent highlights of BITS Hyderabad placement show the median CTC to be INR 12 LPA. Each year almost 95% of students get placed from the branch.
I got 350 in the BITSAT & 3606 in the JEE Advanced. I'm sure I will be getting CSE in NIT Trichy under the home state quota. Which one should I choose BITS Goa, Hyderabad, NIT Trichy, IIT Bhubaneshwar
If you are eligible for all the above-mentioned colleges then BITS Goa and NIT Trichy are two of the best options.
BITS Goa offers Computer Science with a total fee of 14.7 lakhs. Last year, the college scored a placement record of above 90% with the highest CTC of 56 LPA in the CS department. The cut-off last year for CSE was 352 so you may get selected.
BITS Hyderabad offers the same course with a course fee of 15.66 lakhs. The cut-off last year was 342. The IT companies offered an average salary of 14 LPA in last year’s campus placement.
NIT Trichy offers CSE with a course fee of 5.72 lakhs, so there is one advantage of qualifying for an NIT in India. The cut-off rank for JEE Main lies between 280-5317 at this institute. The CSE branch had 100% placement last year with it being the highest recruiting branch for the past 3 years in the college.
IIT Bhubaneswar offers CSE at a fee of 7.91 lakhs, and the JEE Advanced closing cut-off was between 1246-4068. The CSE branch had 100% placement with salaries ranging between 10-35 LPA in 2019 placement.
IIT Dhanbad charges a fee of 8.91 lakhs and the cut-off for JEE Advanced rank lies from 1619-5657. In 2019 campus placement, 90% of CSE students were placed and the maximum salary offered was around 40 LPA.
So after comparing all the colleges, NIT Trichy is the best option.
