3rd yr ECE In NIT Manipur

Likes

Teachers are too much dedicated , they teach every topic in extra detail
Although outer look of infrastructure is not too good inner structure is quite eye pleasing

Dislikes

The outer infrastructure as roads get sunk when it rains
Teachers are too much dedicated to let us have some celebration
No extra holidays other than national holidays

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are allowed to sit in placements , students are given a chance to participate and get a internship+job offer oppertunity. Companies like TATA , Google , Wipro visit Highest package for 2023 is 48L for CSE and 26L for ECE Average package is 8L 85% of students in ECE get placed I am also planning to get a job in cOre companies

For placements students from the 6th sem get a chance to sit. Companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, etc have visited our campus. The highest package was 47 LPA offered to 2 students, while the average was 10 LPA. Almost 80% of students get placed.

Placement Experience:

Students of the 6th semester and onwards become eligible for placements. A lot of big companies visit our campus. From last year's data around 200 offers were made to BTech students. The highest placement was 50 LPA and the average stood at 10 LPA.

Placement is very good and you can also explore in college
Environment is also very good in that area especially i joined nit manipur for this reason

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very bad and class is also very bad
There is no facilities for playing and other things also
If we talk about the classes then class is not so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to take CSE so I choose nit Manipur. I have no option for me. In this percentile, nit manipur gives CSE branch. There are two semesters in one year it takes the exam on time without any disturbance you know that nit is an autonomous college. Whatever the faculty teaches in a semester. he takes an exam within it.

I choose CSE because i want to learn more about computer programming.There are 2 term exams:Mid-term and End end term.It's very difficult to pass cause we need to cover lots of syllabus for per term exams within short time.

The exams papers are so easy here and are according to the syllabus covered by the respective faculty .
The local student also very helpful and respective and they always ready for help when needed.
Faculties understand the problem of students and help them wherever possible

Dislikes

Water problem: since the area is covered by mountains, there is a lot of water problems hostels.
The food quality should be improved.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, companies such as Veritas, L and T, Deloitte, infoedfe, tcs, and Microsoft, start visiting the campus for placements. In the year 2022-23 about 140 offers are made and sound 130 placements are done. The highest package of the college off-campus is 60 lakhs from the department of cse and ece and on campus is 40 lakhs from cse. About 80% of students have placed in the last year. My plan is also to get a job and hold the responsibility of our family on my shoulders.
