Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as Nit Manipur is one of the prestigious colleges for engineering. The faculty members are really good and supportive. The curriculum is strictly based on developing practical skills. Term exams are difficult to pass.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot of big companies such as Wipro, Samsung, Intuit, etc provide internship opportunities to students. Stipend is also very good. Projects are based on frontend development, app development, IoT, etc.

Placement Experience

Students from the start of the 6th semester get eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, Veritas, etc visited our campus. The highest package was 48 LPA and average package was 10 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual tuition is around 150000 Rs per year, which is quite affordable considering the quality of education here. Fee hike doesn't happen regularly. Students from weak economical backgrounds can avail of fee remission.

Campus Life

Annual fest and tech fest are organised every year along with several other cultural events. The library is big enough But lacks a lot of books. The classroom has a smart board and other modern facilities. Sports meet happens every year. This year I participated in cricket.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is like any other hostel. Every student is provided with their own bed, almirah, table, etc. Mess food is tasty yet hygienic. The hostel has its own sports complex and the overall environment is really good. Hostel registration can be done through the NIT Manipur website.

Hostel Fee: INR 56000 per year

Admission

To get admission you have to qualify Jee Main exam with a good percentile. The application form can be found on jee the main website. The Application fee is Rs 650 for unreserved candidates. Reservation benefits are available for all except general category students.

My College

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies which visited are ICICI Bank Newgen Tata digit etc. 85.9% of cse student got placed. The highest package was 42 LPA and average package is 8to 11 LPA. I wanted to start my own company. Our college also provide us the experience by giving us internship opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know IIITs are running on new curriculum. We have lab practicals after completing theory in the classes.the teaching method is good according to me. The exams are too frequent. According to me there should be only one midsem exam instead of 3 assessment .And a end sem exam Midsem and endsem exams are enough according to me.

My Harsh but Real reviews

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cse ongoing trend, that's why taken that. Curriculum syllabus +few more other topics =placement That means the level of your placement depends on your weightage of that few more topics For every semester there will be 3 assignment and one final exam. Few days before exam is enough preparation. The course curriculum should change completely for India not just for us and teaching methods are good for senior professor but not juniors

IIIT MANIPUR , YOU SHOULD OPT. OR NOT?

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good for CSE departments. Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.

the placements here are not good like the fee is very high but the average placement are not near to it i.e ROI is very bad also here many students prepare for gate or cat or someone of them who got placements are their own hardwork and patience

NIT Manipur : Opportunity to the best.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem, students become eligible. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and several other companies come. The highest package was around 35 LPA and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Every time 95% of students get placed.

About NIT MANIPUR

I have applied to many private collages like LPU, Paurul univerity , Saastra , vit , klu, vignan , DR. MGR, satyabhama like these many collages. And i got confirmed admission from NIT MANIPUR . By writing JEE mains i got good percentile and kept for councling and NTA has alloted this collage. As it is good collage i also accepted the seat . No i didn't get rejection letter from any institution .so nothing went wrong .
